Trucker Bites IT AT A Rest Area
13/02/2022 Duration: 51minTrucker Bites IT AT Rest Area. Nurgazy Mamyrov a trucker from Longhorn PA, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of October 5th 2021. Mamyrov was involved in a few incidents with citizens before state police were called to the scene. When state police arrived, they found Mamyrov arguing with another driver. Both were speaking in Russian language. At that moment the other driver was taken into custody. Police tried to coax Mamyrov out of his tractor but had no luck in doing so. Trucker Bites IT AT Rest Area Mamyrov started his truck and proceeded to ram forward forcing police to shoot at the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Yaimy Galan Segura, Owner Castellano 03 Trucking LLC, the trucking company that hired Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, gave a deposition after the accident. Segura's deposition was made public recently and we have a partial copy. In the writings, she admitted she knew nothing about the trucking industry. Rather she had a neighbor that owned a small company and was doing well. With advice from friends and researching the internet, Yaimy started her very own trucking company. In an arbitration, also obtained by TalkCDL, she disputed the fines she had received. With barley over $10, 000 in fines Segura went to arbitration to dispute. Records show that she was fined for numerous violations including one count is for violating 49 CFR 382.301(a) (“No employer shall allow a driver, who the employer intends to hire or use, to perform safety-sensitive functions unless the employer has received a controlled substances test result from the [named entities] indicating a verified negativ

30/01/2022 Duration: 50minElon Musk Trucker Killed Plus Ruthann. The his week a tragic accident in Texas. Apparently two semi trucks collided in Kermit near San Angelo TX. One driver was killed when the sand truck that was involved spilled its content into the cab of the other driver burying him alive. This kind of accident is so rare that is stunned everyone that heard about it. Bridge Collapse in Pittsburgh A bridge collapsed this past week during the morning hours. At about 7a.m. the bridge in Forbes avenue in Frick Park just fell down injuring 10 people and sending 3 to the hospital. There were no fatalities to report at the time. Authorities said the bridge had been inspected this past September. They said it had gone through a vigorous inspection and past with flying colors. A gasoline was ruptured and had to be repaired. He was offered .56cpm by the potential new employer. He was also told that the carrier has a lease purchase program and he could get on that program after a short time as a company driver. Orientation. The driver traveled over 1200 miles to attend the company orientation. On the first day of class, he displayed a very aggressive personality and demanded that he be put on the lease purchase program from day one. This did not go over big since the company had already told him that he would have to be a company driver for a short time before entering into the lease program. This was about to be a problem. Bill was applying to a trucking company in Oklahoma. Bill had several yeas of experience with a clean record and for the most part on normal conditions, would be a great hire for any trucking company. 09/01/2022 Duration: 48minTRUCKERS TO THE RESCUE. Recently a snow storm had motorist stranded on I95 in Virginia. The Interstate was shut down for 15 hours. During this time people started running out of gas and had no choice but to abandon their vehicle. Luckily for many, there were quick thinking, kind hearted truckers also stuck on that road. Many truck drivers were seen handing out food and blankets to families that needed a warm piece of clothing. These kind act will be forever imbedded in the minds of those that needed something that night, to keep themselves alive. FMCSA is pushing forward with 18 to 20 year old truckers to join the ranks of semi truck drivers. It's no secret, that the DOT is pushing for the younger generation to get their CDL. Justice For Truckers
02/01/2022 Duration: 55minJustice For Truckers. This past week Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, the trucker that was involved in a quadruple fatality in 2019, was resentenced for the deadly crash. Originally Aguilera-Mederos received 110 years in prison for the charges of vehicular homicide. He was given clemency by the Governor of Colorado and his sentence was dropped to 10 years. With good behavior he could be out of prison at the end of 2026. JUSTICE FOR TRUCKERS Some safety violations can turn into misdemeanor or felony convictions Paul O. Taylor recently wrote an article outlining violations that truckers take for granted. There are several violations that truckers commit everyday without realizing the consequences could mean jail time. For example, an employment application. Big Prison Sentence for Trucker Plus Tesla
26/12/2021 Duration: 01h05minBIG PRISON SENTENCE FOR TRUCKER PLUS TESLA. A truck driver was recently sentenced to 110 yers in prison for a crash that resulted in multiple deaths. Rogel Aguilera-Mederos was convicted of vehicular homicide Because of the way the law is set up on Colorado, a judge had no choice but too hand down the stiff sentence. Public outcry has been overwhelming for this case. Over four million signatures have have been added to a petition calling for clemency for the trucker. Most agree that the punishment by far exceeded the conviction. More recently prosecutors handed the paperwork for clemency to the courts in Colorado asking for a sentence of 10 to 30 years. CDL Examiner arrested handing out CDL’s
12/12/2021 Duration: 36minCDL EXAMINER ARRESTED HANDING OUT CDL'S. A Pennsylvania CDL Examiner was arrested after gave passing grades to Class A CDL driver without taking the test. According to arrest records, Roberto Correas was charged with wire fraud with the alleged charges. Correas allegedly provided a pre-signed CDL skills exam score sheets to a co-conspirator, who then also allegedly would complete the sheets with passing grades for drivers who did not actually take the test to fraudulently qualify them for CDLs. Correas also allegedly conducted CDL skills tests for a company, and applicants paid $275 for each exam. Correas did not submit those payments to the company and kept the money, supposably. When interviewing drivers, we have been told several times that their company will reset their hours so that a load can be delivered and a fresh load can be picked up.
