On this week’s episode, Mark speaks with Missy Martinez-Stone, CEO of Reprotection, an organization that explores the often overlooked side of the abortion issue - the supply side. Reprotection investigates abortion facilities that break state and federal laws, with the ultimate goal of shutting them down based on their own misdeeds. By partnering with Sidewalk Advocates for Life and Heartbeat International, Reprotection collects critical information to hold these facilities accountable within their own field. Missy explains that to successfully shut down an abortion facility, they must first determine if a violation occurred, who is responsible, and what the protocol for filing complaints is. Additionally, they need strong community support and the willingness of local agencies to enforce the laws. Despite the challenges, Reprotection's efforts have yielded results, closing facilities and saving countless unborn lives in the process. Since the fall of Roe v. Wade, the pro-life movement has struggled to curb the growth of abortion. Pro-life advocates have lost five votes on constitutional amendments in California, Vermont, Kentucky, Kansas, Montana, and Michigan. For several decades, polling indicates that Americans want abortion to remain legal in most cases. Despite the overturning of Roe, the pro-life movement has yet to win over the American public. On Saturday, February 4, 2023, pro-lifers are conducting a nationwide protest at CVS and Walgreen pharmacies for their intention to begin dispensing abortion pills. Are these protests a good idea? Last September California Governor Gavin Newsom’s campaign paid to promote abortion via public billboards in seven states, including Ohio. Some of these billboards said, “Ohio doesn’t own your body. You do.” Newsom also posted billboards using the words of Jesus to invite people to travel to California for abortions. The scripture Newsom used was, “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” - Mark 12:31   In response to Newsom’s blasphemous billboards, a coalition of pro-life organizations is placing billboards in the same locations as Newsom posted his pro-abortion billboards. Laws around parenthood are rapidly changing. Mothers and fathers are now considered legally optional, and biology is being replaced by “intent” to parent. In 2017, scientists created a “BioBag” that functioned as an artificial womb, and they used it to grow a baby lamb. Now, a new concept has been unveiled showing how the same could be done for humans. Soon Ectolife, the world’s first artificial womb facility, will be able to grow 30,000 babies a year.   At first viewing, I thought Ectolife’s video was a trailer for a new sci-fi movie. Democrats are adopting a playbook like that of activists in Ireland prior to the 2018 Irish abortion referendum. Now that Roe has been overturned, the pro-life movement must learn to combat the abortion movement's direct-democracy strategy.   The establishment pro-life movement has so far failed to see that the reason we lost in the midterms is that the American people don’t agree with us on abortion. Voters in California, Vermont, and Michigan on Tuesday approved ballot measures enshrining abortion into their state constitutions, while those in the red states of Montana and Kentucky rejected measures that would have restricted abortion. The University of California accepts millions of dollars each year in tax funding that supplies a steady stream of late-term fetal organs from pain-capable and viable children. These children are dismembered nearly half of the time without being euthanized. Research suggests that this results in born-alive infants in 50% of the cases.   The UC Regents oversees the entire University of California system and ensures the institution is functioning ethically. UCSF is violating fundamental human rights through its fetal organ harvesting and research policies. UC Regents need to be held accountable and change their dangerous policies.   Abortion alone is murder and barbarism.
