Pro-life advocates have lost five votes on constitutional amendments in California, Vermont, Kentucky, Kansas, Montana, and Michigan. For several decades, polling indicates that Americans want abortion to remain legal in most cases. Despite the overturning of Roe, the pro-life movement has yet to win over the American public.
