In this episode, Mark interviews author Stephen Wolfe, author of The Case for Christian Nationalism.   I just finished his book. It's deep. It's challenging. And I recommend it to anyone interested in Christian political theory. Unfortunately, some Christians who say they don't support what is outlined in the book have never read it. Instead, they often fall for stereotypes about nationalism that the secular media promotes and buy in to the straw man arguments about Christian nationalism from its many detractors.   That said, I believe every Christian who is concerned about the direction of nation/culture should read it.    Here a few of the questions I ask Stephen:   What is Christian Nationalism? Is the church called to change the culture? Is the pursuit of cultural Christianity I replacement for preaching the gospel? Dobbs didn't go far enough. The 14th amendment reads:   No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.   Like the days of slavery we are now faced with slave states and free states – abortion havens and abortion free states.   States had recognized pre-born children as "persons" at all stages of pregnancy.   When the 14th Amendment was adopted, the states widely recognized pre-born children as "persons" at all stages of pregnancy.   Nearly every state had codified criminal prohibitions by statute. One year ago, Americans witnessed history when the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Since then, however, the pro-abortion movement has had success in amending several state constitutions and defeating pro-life ballot measures in other states. For instance, California, Vermont, and Michigan approved ballot measures enshrining abortion into their state constitutions, while those in the red states of Montana, Kansas, and Kentucky rejected measures that would have restricted abortion.   Now all eyes are on Ohio!   Abortion advocates are close to securing enough signatures to put an abortion amendment on the November ballot in Ohio. In today’s show, Mark is on the ground with multiple guests outside of the Ohio State House during the vote on SJR-2. In short, this resolution would require a 60% vote instead of a simple majority to approve any constitutional amendment.   If you are a current listener of the show, you will know that we have been speaking out and actively trying to stop the Ohio Constitutional Amendment that is coming down the pipeline in November, allowing abortions up to birth, as well as gender reassignment surgeries for children. At this very moment, pro-abortion minions are knocking on doors, visiting shopping malls, setting up booths on college campuses, and holding events in major Ohio cities. They’re using fear tactics to provoke voters to sign an initiative that, if successful at the ballot box, will amend our state constitution and turn Ohio into a killing field like New York and California.
