APC's 7th Anniversary Sunday
06/01/2021 Duration: 43minAs we celebrate our 7th Anniversary as Access Point Church, we take some time to look back at our history and where we have come from. We are also reminded of why our church began--our mission and our purpose! Ultimately, we desire to be a warm and welcoming church that invites outsiders to come and find a relationship with Christ. We pray this message encourages you to not only attend church, but to be the Church in your everyday life!

Andrew Bass--Avoiding Apostasy and Becoming Effective Christians (1 Timothy 4)
28/12/2020 Duration: 34minThe Christmas story is not something that we merely move beyond after December 25th. Rather, it demands a response of faith--a life of surrender and a commitment to growing in godliness. In this passage, we learn how to faithfully follow Christ and live effectively for Him. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Christmas Brings a New Way of Life (Luke 4:16-30)
22/12/2020 Duration: 41minOften times, at Christmas, we focus only on the baby in the manger, while forgetting that He is also the Savior who bore the cross and rose again. As a result, we forget that this Jesus changed the world and also calls us to a transformed life. Jesus came to bring radical life transformation to his followers, yet we often claim Jesus as Savior and fail to follow Him as Lord. We pray that this Christmas, you will allow Jesus to transform your life!

The Line: Christ Came to Save Us from Our Sin (Isaiah 52:13-53:12)
07/12/2020 Duration: 29minAs we begin this Christmas series, we take a look at Isaiah's prophecy of the coming Messiah--the Suffering Servant. We marvel that Jesus would come to earth and take on human flesh willingly, knowing that it would end in a horrific death--but He did this for us, that we could be set free from the power of sin and have our relationship with the Father restored. We pray this message helps to worship Jesus this Christmas season!

Hebrews--Week 8 (Hebrews 13:1-8)
30/11/2020 Duration: 30minAs we close out our series in the book of Hebrews, the author shows how all that He has told us to this point should affect the way we live. When we understand the sacrifice of Christ in our place and the grace we have been shown, we will desire to love strangers well and to point others to the Gospel in the way that we live and love! We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Hebrews--Week 7 (Hebrews 12:1-17)
23/11/2020 Duration: 38minIn this week's passage, the author compares the Christian life to a race. He issues a call to persevere, to resist sin and fix our eyes on Jesus. He shows us that Jesus has run the race--full of hardships, struggles, and shame--before us so that we can look to Him for the strength to persevere. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Hebrews--Week 6 (Hebrews 11:1-40)
17/11/2020 Duration: 40minIn this week's passage, we see a long list of people from a variety of backgrounds and with various personalities who all have one thing in common: faith. We learn from their example that faith is not a blind leap, but rather walking forward with confidence in the God who keeps His promises. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Hebrews--Week 5 (Hebrews 9:9-26)
09/11/2020 Duration: 28minIn this passage, we see that not only was Jesus the Great High Priest, but also the perfect sacrifice. Old Testament priests offered sacrifices that were only temporary, and thus, continual. However, Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, paying the price for the sins of mankind once and for all. As we come to fully understand that our debt was paid in full by our Savior, we learn to live in the freedom that He has provided for us. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Hebrews--Week 4 (Hebrews 5:11-6:12)
02/11/2020 Duration: 37minJust as babies transition from milk to solid food, Christians are expected to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, moving from the basics of Christianity to the deeper things of God. This maturity takes effort and work, but as our knowledge of him grows, we are more eager to surrender to him and seek to please Him in the way that we live. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Hebrews--Week 3 (4:14-16; 5:1-6)
26/10/2020 Duration: 33minAfter making the point that Jesus is supreme in all things, the author now shows us that his supremacy does not create a barrier between us and Him, but rather He is the one who removes the barrier between us and God. The supreme One came to this earth in human flesh and endured all of the sufferings and temptations of this life without sin, died in our place, and now pleads our case before God. What a beautiful, glorious hope we have in Jesus!
-
Hebrews--Week 2 (Hebrews 3:1-6, 12-19; 4:11)
19/10/2020 Duration: 43minIn this week's passage, the author tells us to look to Jesus in everything so that our faith will be guarded against unbelief and hardness of heart. We see that true commitment to Jesus is not revealed in a one-time profession, but over the long haul of our live. Despite struggle and toil, true belief in Christ endures. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Hebrews--Week 1 (Hebrews 1:1-14)
15/10/2020 Duration: 34minAs we begin this series through the Book of Hebrews, we quickly see its emphasis on the supremacy of Christ in all things. Jesus is the full and final revelation of God, and He humbly came to earth to live a life of righteousness and die a sinner's death so that we could be reconciled to God. We pray this message is an encouragement to you, and that it motivates you towards a life of obedience and holiness!

Ezekiel: A New Heart--Week 6
08/10/2020 Duration: 32minWe close this series by seeing the hope of Israel restored. Because of their repentance, God says that he will again hear their prayers. The people of Israel see that in spite of their failure and idolatry, God keeps His promises and will once again dwell among His people--both in the temple, and in the coming Messiah. Biblical hope is not wishful thinking, but rather a confident expectation that we have as we place our faith in Jesus Christ alone. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Ezekiel: A New Heart--Week 5
28/09/2020 Duration: 22minIn this familiar passage, Ezekiel comes to a valley of bones that are "very dry", symbolic of the nation of Israel. There seemed to be no hope of ever living again. But, as he prophesies, the bones come together and the Spirit of God breathes life into them. The same is true today: it is the Spirit of God who brings new life to our hearts. There is no one too far gone or too trapped in sin to be restored. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!
-
Ezekiel: A New Heart--Week 4
22/09/2020 Duration: 47minThis week, we understand that Ezekiel was a popular prophet, and his audience viewed his words as mere entertainment instead of taking them to heart. Even today, many hear the Word of God and are not changed; however, we are not to read the Bible or attend worship services to merely feel good or be encouraged, but ultimately to be changed and to put what we learn into action! We pray this message strengthens your faith!

Ezekiel: A New Heart--Week 3
16/09/2020 Duration: 32minThis week, Ezekiel delivers a hard message to the people of Israel. God announces that because the Israelites have physically and spiritually turned their backs on Him, he will no longer hear their cries. They had become complacent with wearing a spiritual façade, going through the motions with no genuine heart behind them. Today, if we find ourselves in the same place, the solution is the same: to repent and turn back to Him--to surrender to Him and give Him the worship that only He deserves. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Ezekiel: A New Heart--Week 1
01/09/2020 Duration: 26minThis week, we begin a series through the book of Ezekiel--a prophecy of hope and restoration for the nation of Israel which found itself in shambles, overtaken by pagan gods and losing faith in the God who called them His own. In light of this, the book begins with a powerful vision that reminds the people of Israel that, despite their present circumstances, God is in control and Israel's future is bright if they will turn to Him in repentance. We pray this message invites you to remember who God is and come to Him and receive the grace He has offered!

Seven Churches of Revelation: Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22)
25/08/2020 Duration: 54minAs we wrap up this series, this week we look at a passage that is commonly misinterpreted. The city of Laodicea had a water supply problem--their only way to get water was via aqueducts from neighboring cities. One city, Hierapolis, had hot, mineral springs, and the other, Colossae, had cool, refreshing water; but by the time either got to Laodicea, the water was lukewarm and not good for anything. Jesus applies this very real problem to the spirituality of this church. He tells them that their spirituality is worthless because they are making no impact for the sake of the Gospel. We pray this message encourages you and helps you take a look at your own life to see what kind of impact you are making!

Seven Churches of Revelation: Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13)
17/08/2020 Duration: 37minIn the letter to the church at Philadelphia, a city known for earthquakes and instability, God promises that for those who remain faithful to him in the midst of persecution and trials, He will offer stability and security. He says he will put His name on Him, as a way of identifying with them. These promises are available to us today as we stand firm in our faith, not compromising in the face of trials. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

Seven Churches of Revelation: Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6)
10/08/2020 Duration: 31minIn the revelation to the church at Sardis, we see that they appear to be alive, but are actually dead. God graciously calls them to wake up, get to work, and repent while the time remains. He promises that if they do, their eternity with Him will be secure because of Christ's righteousness credited to them. This same promise is available to us today!
