This week, we look at the letter to the church at Thyatira. This church, like the others, has some excellent qualities; however, there is a false prophet, a Jezebel, who is leading people astray and into evil practices, and refuses to repent. As evil as she was, God had extended mercy and grace to her, yet she refused it. That same mercy and grace has been offered to us! We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we look at the letter to the church at Pergamum, we see how tolerance and gradual acceptance leads to greater compromise than we ever intended. Like Pergamum, we are offered a new identity in Christ, but this requires that we stand firm in the gospel, not compromising for the sake of comfort, but holding fast to Him alone. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we look at the letter to the church at Smyrna, we see that unlike the other six churches, this one has nothing against it. This church continues to stand boldly for the Gospel in the face of persecution and tribulation knowing that they would receive the Crown of Life from their risen Lord in the end. Will the same be said of us? Will we stand firm, proclaiming the undiluted Gospel boldly in the face of trials and troubles? We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we begin this new series on the letters to the seven churches in Revelation, we look at John's letter to Ephesus. We see that they were a church that was strong doctrinally and hard-working; yet, there was a problem. Their work was no longer motivated by a love for Christ. Just as the church at Ephesus was given an opportunity to repent and return to their first love, we have that opportunity as well!

This week, we look at Ezekiel's vision of the Valley of Dry Bones. Through Ezekiel, God was telling the children of Israel that despite their current circumstances, God would raise them up again. Today, the church is empowered by the Spirit of God and bound together in love. We pray this message encourages you to rise up as a mighty warrior for the Lord!

As we conclude this series, we take a look at how the gospel is spread from person to person as Christian's live their lives on mission--simply living out their faith in their everyday lives. Through daily faithfulness, we make an impact on the lives of others. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we begin a new series, we are taking a closer look at what it means to live on mission, starting at home and reaching out into our community. This week, we look at Jesus' commission to His disciples before His ascension. First and foremost, he commands them to "make disciples" wherever they may find themselves by the means of baptizing and teaching others to obey Jesus' teaching. As modern disciples, the mission remains the same for us. We are all called to reproduce ourselves, making disciples of those we come into contact with!

As our series in Esther comes to a close, once again we see God's providential hand at work, making all of the pieces of the puzzle fall into place as only He can. We also learn that, as Christians, our lives should put on display the salvation and grace that we have received. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

This week, in Esther 5 and 6, we are reminded that God has a sovereign plan and purpose for every individual's life, even when it is hard to see His hand at work. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

This week, we see that God has placed Esther in her position as Queen of Persia in order to accomplish His purposes--namely, to save the entire Jewish race. From this story, we ask the question: Am I allowing God to use me right now, right where I am, to accomplish His purposes through my life? We pray this message is an encouragement to you today!

This week, we continue in Esther's story. We see how God's provision has allowed an orphaned Jewish girl to become Queen of Persia. Then, we learn that even in the face of fear and danger, when God seems distant, He is always working for our good and His glory. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we begin a new series in the book of Esther, we see God's sovereign hand and favor working in the background of Esther's life to accomplish his plan and purposes. We learn that even in times of waiting and trial in our own lives, God has a plan and a purpose for our lives! We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

This week, we wrap up this series by looking at how the Body of Christ is designed to function. From Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, we learn that every believer is equipped by the Spirit to grow the kingdom of God. In order for the Church to be effective, each member must lay aside his or her own ego and work to serve the other members. We pray this message encourages you to use the gifts you have been given for the sake of the Kingdom!

This week, we take a look at Philippians 2:5-11 where Paul calls the church at Philippi to live lives of humility. He shows that Jesus, in His coming to earth as fully God and fully man to live a life of perfect submission and obedience to the Father, is the ultimate model for humility. It is only by looking to Christ that we can truly put the needs and interests of others ahead of our own. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

As we begin this new series, we take a look at who Jesus really is as portrayed in Colossians 1:15-20. In this passage, we see that He is the Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the universe--the Almighty God. Yet, He came to earth to reveal the Father and to reconcile us to Him. Though we often fight the desire to be in control of the world and of our lives, we find our burdens lifted as we rest in who He is!

On this Resurrection Sunday, we look at John's account of the resurrection of Lazarus where Jesus claims to be "the resurrection and the life." Mary and Martha had faith that He could have saved their brother, but accused him of waiting too long to come. However, He intended to use this opportunity to show His power over life and death. Because of Jesus' resurrection, this new life is now available to all who, like Martha, can say, "I believe you are the Messiah, the Son of God."

We begin this Holy Week by celebrating our Savior's entrance into Jerusalem on a donkey, which fulfilled prophecies from centuries before. Those who shouted "Hosanna" or "Save now" would only a week later cry, "Crucify Him!" Caught up in their own expectations of who Jesus would be, they missed Him for who He was. As we enter in this Easter season, we pray that this message would be helpful to you as you examine your own life for ways we tend to put expectations on who we think Jesus should be, and thus miss who He truly is!

This week, we look at Daniel 9:1-19. In this passage, Daniel models a prayer of repentance and confession, as well as a desire to see God glorified in all things. We pray this message encourages you and helps you grow in your personal prayer life!

As we continue in Daniel 5, we see that God is in control of history. Often we forget that He is sovereign over every aspect of our lives, and is faithful to use everything that touches our lives for our good and His glory. We pray this message is an encouragement to you!

We see through King Nebuchadnezzar's story that merely being impressed with the One True God is not the same as being changed by Him. When we are humbled before Him and see Him as the God He truly is, every area of our lives will be affected. We pray that you will not simply acknowledge that He is God, but that you will humbly repent and surrender your life to Him!
