Just as babies transition from milk to solid food, Christians are expected to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, moving from the basics of Christianity to the deeper things of God. This maturity takes effort and work, but as our knowledge of him grows, we are more eager to surrender to him and seek to please Him in the way that we live.
