The Front By Lead The Team With Host Mike Phillips

Synopsis

One of my personal and business goals is to make a positive impact on people. Make an impact on my family, on other people, businesses, and in my community.I am a Digital Strategist and former General Sales Manager in the auto industry. I am considered by many an expert in automotive call centers and phone sales (BDC). I’ve done just about everything in an automotive dealership setting, and I still really enjoy selling cars! I love the study of psychology and the art of sales and negotiation (and there is an art to both). My coaching career started early. I got my first break at a roller rink by training and coaching in youth inline hockey at age 17. I worked hard at teaching and pulling the best out of youth and adult hockey players; this quickly transcended to coaching individuals with school work and then business work and from there personal coaching and business consulting for success!I have sold many retail products beginning in my teens; roller skates, sporting equipment, and then when eBay first came online – this was where I got my first taste of having to really market individual products. I had to build ads and create an online experience so that people would buy.Overall, my sales career took off, developed multiple facets and was polished when entering the Auto Industry in 2004. From that time, through some great mentors, and investing time and training in myself I have consistently been a top producer in any position I have held.I enjoy public speaking on motivation, goal setting, and sales training. Getting others pumped and fired up. I love any area involving personal development and being able to grow and push others to the top of their game.My specialties in business include: Sales Training, Motivational Training, Leadership Training, Social Media Marketing, Individual Negotiation, Finance, Lender and Loan Negotiation, Business Management Consulting, Blogging, Podcasting, Digital Video (YouTube), Contract Law.---Thank you for tuning in! ?--I hope that you keep up with website, social media, and me, Mike Phillips, making the magic happen online.? • Pursuing Perfection | The FRONT

    12/11/2018 Duration: 14min

Are you pursuing perfection? You may not be likely to achieve perfection. So many people that are successful are chasing perfection. https://youtu.be/Eb9UrlyyeUk Pursuing perfection isn’t about being a perfectionist, or even ever catching it. It’s about checking your work though, and then double checking your work. I think that everything that you are chasing should be a pursuit to make the physical world as good as the amazing things that we have in our heads. It’s hard for many people to ever achieve and match the visions that are in their head, to what is real life. Part of the advantage of chasing that imagination and that perfection is it creates an unbelievable journey. Me right now with video - I get a lot of compliments on the productions I create. I had someone comment the other night about how every time I get new equipment that those shows always have a ton of engagement and views. The thing is, I am just pushing a little bit more each time to get the type of message and production out in the video

  • Thoughts On Kindness | The FRONT

    04/11/2018 Duration: 12min

Today I am sharing some thoughts on kindness. You know I have either been involved in, or watched some unkind things happening around me lately. So I thought I would just share this reminder today. How does it fit in with the FRONT - It’s hard sometimes to stay kind to people or situations that we disagree with. https://youtu.be/CZROs4Dc1qI Nice is pleasant; agreeable; satisfactory, fine or subtle Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.  Kindness takes grace. They are not the same. And there are benefits to being kind. Everyone is affected by an act of kindness. Kindness is contagious and you never know just how big of an impact a small gesture of kindness can have. Kindness improves our quality of life and It brings people together. One of the unique things I have been thinking to myself about kindness is this: contrary to popular belief, kindness is not weakness. It is the ability to stay nice and considerate even when difficulty arises. It’s not sacrificing your values for ano

    28/10/2018 Duration: 08min

Here are 7 success facts that you should know! (Or at least that I would like to share with you!) These are business principles that I have learned throughout my time in business, as a youth sports coach, and in leadership. So tune in and check them out! https://youtu.be/64z2mLZ4U0A 7 Success Facts Success will not depend on your education, but on your attitude and the actions you take. You are either rich or you are poor. It’s a mentality. There is no in between. True freedom comes from more than a 40-hour work-week. Entrepreneurs understand this. Real success is that you work while you are awake. No one else truly cares if you succeed or fail. Your view of success and someone else’s view of failure may be much closer together than you think. You must learn how to sell, whether you like it or not, you will always be selling, yourself, your product, your company. You will never get paid what you deserve unless you sell. You must negotiate it. Be confident in yourself and what you have to offer. You'll get pa

  • What Are You Welcoming Into Your Life? | The FRONT

    16/09/2018 Duration: 07min

Are you welcoming in things that don’t grow you or others? https://youtu.be/k4zw71kEeYU I think often times, this is a question of more than just “what are you inviting in,” but, what are you actually WELCOMING into your life? See inviting is extending an invitation - welcoming is actually being excited when that person or thing shows up in your life, or in your space. For example… you have relatives show up at the house. What is the natural reaction… we welcome them into our home. But we have all have people that have “overstayed their welcome” - right? So what started out as a friendly gesture, or an opportunity to connect becomes something undesirable and frustrating. We've all been there for more than just somebody showing up at the house. This happens in so many different areas of our lives that sometimes we don't even realize it. So even though this is a maybe a short and simple message this afternoon I would ask yourself you can assess this in many ways. You may ask yourself: What am I welcoming into
