Welcome back, lickers! On today's episode I'm joined by my good friend Brad VandenBerg. Can't say I saw that coming when I started the show. Given that Marty started the series, we had to wrap things up with super producer Dan. I ventured back to Friesen Point Studios and let Dan pick out his favorite Mighty Mighty Bosstones album. Dude grew up LOVING this band and it's pretty clear as we get into it their history. Glückliche Skatoberfest! Back in August I complained on air about the frequency in which ska is brought up on the show. Friend and frequent guest Marty DeRosa suggested I embrace the phenomenon and dedicate a full month to the genre, thus Skatoberfest was born. All October long, I'll be releasing a special Skatoberfest themed episode, each and every Thursday, along with the usual Tuesday drops. I'm really gonna try my best to play some brilliant ska music because it's out there and it doesn't deserve the wrath it so commonly receives, but to be fair, there's gonna be some crap too. We gotta get around to the 90s at some point. In this first installment, Marty joins me as we dig into the music of Prince Buster and Jamaican super group The Wailers. After several technical hiccups, Jam Sandwich is finally broadcasting from my new studio, the Palace of Sin. I say "hiccups" because I recorded an episode with our good friend Goodrich Gevaart, but then I fudged something in post and lost the audio. Durr... After taking an unplanned holiday last week, Jam Sandwich returns in classic form. On today's episode, Super Producer Dan and I break in the all new Friesen Point Studios after I botched my first attempt with home recordings. We listen to The Cure and Joy Division, talk about our sexual awakenings, and briefly contemplate time. There's a few little glitches in this one, but you probably won't even notice. If anything, it just goes to show whatta scrappy lil' show I run for you, the people. If there's one thing I want everyone to take away from this one it's "Respect the space of others, you stupid licker." Oh and go 'like' the facebook page cause I found a scan of the page from Madonna's sex book (mentioned in the episode) which I will include in the posting. You'll dig it. 

Today's guest is my best one yet because after the show was finished, I got to go home and fornicate with them. For the 25th episode I asked my wife Claire to join me at Friesen Point Studios to discuss our favorite shared band, Belle and Sebastian, along with the two songs that played during our wedding and some other crap. I have to wonder if I sound different considering my better half is on the show. Early on Claire suggests that listeners might get exposed to my "more sensitive side" but I'm not sure how true that is given my bride's natural gift for toying with my libido. Either way, she's an absolute sweetheart and I love her with all that I got. In fact, from now on, I'm gonna be sensitive as fcuk. All feelings, all the time, from here on out. This episode of Jam Sandwich is best enjoyed with a saucer full of milk, so lick it up kitties. 

Today's guest has many titles. If you've seen him perform stand up comedy, you might know him as Sammy Arechar. Perhaps you know him by his work on the ones and twos as Yung Zucchini. His mother calls him her "sweet prince." The Milwaukee native joins us today and he brought with him I Need A Haircut by Biz Markie. Such a solid album. Thanks Yung ZUCCH! When that wraps up we play the 1999 EP A2G by Blackalicious. We also drink A LOT of beers on this one. Count the can cracks and guess who went the hardest. The odd turn with this episode is Sammy is such a nice young man and it's probably the dirtiest episode yet. I apologize in advance for the fact that I keep talking about that one thing.
