Episodes

  • Goodrich Gevaart || JS043

    11/01/2017 Duration: 01h29min

    Friend of the show Goodrich Gevaart returns to jam yer airwaves once again on this episode of THE 'WICH. We were supposed to focus on glam rock, but instead we both ended up grazing in the grass too long and Goody's inner chav came out. Then that chav wouldn't go away. This episode might as well be called CHAV TALK, which makes for a great knuckle tattoo now that I think about it. Anyhoo, we listen to mega creep Gary Glitter and the always bad ass Suzi Quatro. Slade sneaks a song in cause those dudes are sneaky buggers. Sweet little Ricky Wilde shows us how teenagers do it too. If nothing else, you get to hear two close friends reconnect after not seeing each other for several months and if this show is about anything, it's FRIENDSHIP. And dirty sex stuff.  Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: jamsandwichpodcast.com || manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Mike Conway || JS042

    04/01/2017 Duration: 01h44min

    After a brief holiday break, my dear friend Mike Conway returns to the show to help me usher in a new year. In 2016, I really embraced the 7" so I figured we'd start 2017 with a bunch of classic punk 45s cause thats my sheee-it. As is tradition, Mike makes some incredibly outlandish statements and I react accordingly. On this episode we discuss George Michael's music videos, as well as the merits of record collecting and also waxing your scrotum. SUBSCRIBE and tell your lovely friends.  Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: jamsandwichpodcast.com || manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Christmas with CJ || JS041

    14/12/2016 Duration: 01h27min

    Jah humbug, lickers! On today's episode, I welcome back my lovely wife Claire to discuss some Christmas classics. It was also done in candle light, wrapped in blankets while drinking beers in our dining room. We talk about "wet slappies" and embracing snug season. This one is fun because it gets sexual. It'll warm your bones quicker than a big cup of hot cocoa! Put a marshmallow in it and throw on some baby powder cause it's time to stay in. • Tommy McNamara || JS040

    29/11/2016 Duration: 01h20min

    I'm tickled pink to have my good friend Tommy McNamara on today's show. He's one of those folks who you can tell really loves music by hearing him talk about it. His very presence is straight up angelic. I love Tommy and I think you will too. Mr. Mac frequently does his "Unplugged" show in New York and I highly encourage you to go check him out. We listen to Dusty In Memphis and Pleased To Meet Me. It's good. You know what's not good? Cheap coffee. As I'm writing this, I'm drinking the worst coffee of my life, and it's seriously bumming me out. Tastes like dirt. One of my coworkers bought the cheap stuff even though it was on the company dime. Why would you do that, Adam? Seriously, what were you possibly thinking dude? Some people!   Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Quantum Creep || JS039

    22/11/2016 Duration: 01h26min

    Sure the whole world is on fire and all I can do is think about the impending apocalypse, but for today's episode I simply needed to blow off some steam by getting stoned to the bone and giggling like a wee little sex pig. As is becoming a reoccurring theme, I had a guest cancel last minute so I went back to Friesen Point Studios so that super producer Dan could join me AND do all the post work editting for me. Ain't I a lil' stinker? We listen to Devo's Duty Now For The Future and discuss Scott Bakula's massive crank. This topic leads me to discover a new sexual fantasy, which I hope my wife hears and then tries to make a reality. Also, Dan quit Facebook and talks about how the site practically begs you not to leave. F U FB!! Anyway, it's another episode and I hope this one makes you laugh cause we could all use a good laugh right now. Thanks for listening and remember to be kind to one another! • Brad Vandenberg || JS037

    08/11/2016 Duration: 01h55min

    Welcome back, lickers! On today's episode I'm joined by my good friend Brad VandenBerg. I've mentioned him on the show before and he created the Jam Sandwich logo, so know that it looks good because of this sweet man. On today's show, we dig into the soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City because it's probably the best video game soundtrack ever. We barely scratch the surface, but then again it would be an 8 hour long episode if we crammed it all in. I mostly grill Brad about being a gamer because it's a world that intrigues and fascinates me. Throughout the episode we talk about some of our favorite video games, living off pizza & beer and coin the term "big tinies." If that doesn't work for you then I suggest you take it out and blow on it. FUN FACT: I was having tech issues for a solid hour before I was able to start recording, so I power smoked a bowl right before to chill out and ended up starting the whole thing off by saying "Did you miss me next show?" Sweet Jesus, this show will never not be a

  • Dan Friesen : Skatoberfest || JS036

    28/10/2016 Duration: 57min

    Phew, we've finally made it to the end of Skatoberfest! I'm not gonna lie, it was somewhat exhausting doing all these extra episodes and I did it in the name of ska. Can't say I saw that coming when I started the show. Given that Marty started the series, we had to wrap things up with super producer Dan. I ventured back to Friesen Point Studios and let Dan pick out his favorite Mighty Mighty Bosstones album. Dude grew up LOVING this band and it's pretty clear as we get into it their history. We're gonna get back to regular programming again next week and fret not, I'm not gonna follow through with Dan's suggestion to do OurLadyPeacevember. No way in hell. • Re-Animated || RPM002 || Joe McAdam & Maggie Isasickie

    25/10/2016 Duration: 01h29min

    Trick or treat, pound my meat, your dink is something good to beat! With Halloween just around the corner I felt like dropping a special treat in your goody bags, so I'm reissuing an early, Halloween themed episode of my old show Revolutions Per Minute. Prior to hosting Jam Sandwich, I did a similar show with my dear friend Joe McAdam (@joemcadam on twitter) and quite frankly I don't think many people heard it the first time around. I loved doing this show and I've mentioned it on the Sammy before. Well, this here is your chance to see what all the fuss is about. Its kind of cool to look back at this show now since the modern day Jam Sandwich rose from it's ashes. I recorded a new intro and stuff, so you can hear all about it once you get it going. In fact, quit reading this and go do that. Have a happy Halloween!   Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: manontop69.com || jamsandwichpodcast.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Sara Bassick : Skatoberfest || JS035

    21/10/2016 Duration: 01h20min

    On this episode we're skanking right along with the third installment of Skatoberfest! My good friend Sara Bassick (Johnny & The Limelights, Summer Girlfriends) joins me as we visit Berkeley's own Operation Ivy's Energy, considered by many to be the very first ska-core album. We discussed our early punk roots, what the Boston scene was like for a young punk girl and how they've played a role in our values as adults. I also plug the hell out of my current favorite soda and rant on my hatred of suburban chain restaurants. This ones for the punks!! • We Are 138 Tidbits About The Misfits || JS034

    18/10/2016 Duration: 49min

    Trick or treat! This episode is kinda both? Welcome to a seasonal spread from Jam Sandwich. On today's episode you're given a crash course in history of the Misfits. Think of it as Cliff Burton's Notes, if you will. 'Fits 101, dudeguy. I've been sick as a dog this past week so I wasn't able to bring over a guest, but I figured now would be a good time to fully geek out on one of my favorite bands. I love them not just for their music, but their story is also so, so good. This episode was also recorded in the middle of the night and, due to my many illnesses, it's influenced by a real life pill cocktail. Congratulations, you've found the dumbest podcast ever made! It's a quickie (at 49 minutes), which is the perfect amount of time for you to make a scary jack-o-lantern. So find the biggest knife for the biggest pumpkin and get carving! Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Mike Conway : Skatobefest || JS033

    13/10/2016 Duration: 01h31min

    Nope, you're not skallucinating, Jam Sandwich is back with part two of our Skatober festivities. As soon as I committed to this themed batch of episodes, I knew I had to invite Mike Conway back to the studio. After discussing 60s ska last week, we dive into the late 70s with the all time classic One Step Beyond from London's very own Madness. This album rules but since I know Mr. Conway is a skannoisseur I also asked him to bring in an assortment of his old ska 7"s. Given the choices, you better believe we jump straight into some Skankin' Pickle. So roll up the cuffs of your baggy trousers and move to the beat cause this episode is sure to skamuse your wildest fantasies!  Jam Sandwiches can also be found at: manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Mike Lebovitz || JS032

    11/10/2016 Duration: 01h19min

    Editors note: Make sure yer ears are nice 'n' clean before listening to this episode, cause your auditory senses are about to get filled to the brim with all kinds of jam! My good friend (and, I swear to Jah, one of the greatest stand up comedians ever) Mike Lebovitz joins me as we listen to the Silver Jews American Water LP. Mike's got great taste, so I was pleased as punch to get him on the show to BS, as we do. We stay on topic and talk 90s indie nuggets. I then proceed to play some assorted 90s hits at the end to fill things out. Last, but certainly now least, the show closes with the newest Rocket From The Crypt song, which I don't think is available on the internet at the time of the original air date. Go listen to that sucker in all it's glory cause RFTC fahking rules. Plug in, then when you're done, take the plug out. Just be safe when dealing with plugging.  Jam Sandwich can also be found at: manontop69.com || Twitter: @jamsandwichpod || Instagram: @jamsandwichpodcast

  • Marty DeRosa : Skatoberfest || JS031

    06/10/2016 Duration: 01h35min

    Glückliche Skatoberfest! Back in August I complained on air about the frequency in which ska is brought up on the show. Friend and frequent guest Marty DeRosa suggested I embrace the phenomenon and dedicate a full month to the genre, thus Skatoberfest was born. All October long, I'll be releasing a special Skatoberfest themed episode, each and every Thursday, along with the usual Tuesday drops. I'm really gonna try my best to play some brilliant ska music because it's out there and it doesn't deserve the wrath it so commonly receives, but to be fair, there's gonna be some crap too. We gotta get around to the 90s at some point. In this first installment, Marty joins me as we dig into the music of Prince Buster and Jamaican super group The Wailers. Pull up your lederhosen braces and skank to the beat! PROST!!

  • Curtis Morgan || JS030

    04/10/2016 Duration: 01h49min

    Like Iggy Pop in the 1980's, this episode is a real wild child. I'm FINALLY joined by one of my best friends in the world, Chris "Irish Eyes Are Smiling" Moran. I spelled his name differently in the title because A. he's a teacher and quite frankly I don't want any of his students to discover this naughty show and B. he sometimes calls himself Curtis Morgan. I'm not sure why, but it pleases me so. But wait, that's not all. My lovely wife Claire once again joins us in the studio because she not only lives here at the Palace of Sin, but she's also super tight with Mr. Morgan. He actually lives in the apartment above ours so we all hang out constantly, often spinning wax. This episode is the closest I can possibly get to capture shooting the sh*t at my place on a Friday night, cause that's when we laid this bad motha down. Best of all, we listen to Morrissey! FINALLY!! So many personal Jam Sandwich fantasies are being fulfilled in dis bish. We spin Viva Hate and Vauxhall & I, which would've likely happened h

  • Sarah Shockey || JS029

    27/09/2016 Duration: 01h22min

    Hello friends and possible enemies! Welcome to another thrilling installment of Jam Sandwich. Today's show is so fresh it hasn't had time to cool, as it was recorded at the last possible minute. I'm joined by the ever so lovely Sarah Shockey as we dig into Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual and some assorted 45s I had laying around by the turntable. Her positive energy adds a touch of elegance to a show that is usually made for and by disgusting pigs. Go check out her show Marty & Sarah Love Wrestling, which is easily the best wrestling podcast in all the land. She's doing some fine work over there with that lovable horny boy Marty DeRosa. Quit horsing around and just listen to the dang episode already, mmmk? Oh wait, we're also on twitter now at @jamsandwichpod and instagram at @jamsandwichpodcast. Like us on facebook, subscribe to the show and pawn your grandma's jewelry for hookers. I'm okay with you only doing two of the three. It's not ideal, but I can handle it because I'm an understanding gentleman. O

  • Kevin Goggin || JS028

    20/09/2016 Duration: 01h35min

    EDITOR'S NOTE: If you downloaded this episode before 9/22/16, go ahead and get it again as I pumped up the volume. Sorry for the trouble! My good friend (and the composer of our theme song) Kevin Goggin returns to the ultra high frequencies of Jam Sandwich! This episode was recorded at 1 AM so we may or may not have already had a few. We dig into some power pop classics, spinning both the Raspberries and the Vapors, while discussing Chicago's best hot dog stands, our OG AOL screen names and the merits of taking your young lover to an empty baseball dugout. We present some actual facts about the records for a change. Also, the show is now on Instagram, so go follow the us at @jamsandwichpodcast for some heavy visuals. In the meantime, subscribe to the show not because I told you to, but because it's what you desire. La-di-da-di-da.

  • Claire Jean || JS027

    13/09/2016 Duration: 01h15min

    After several technical hiccups, Jam Sandwich is finally broadcasting from my new studio, the Palace of Sin. I say "hiccups" because I recorded an episode with our good friend Goodrich Gevaart, but then I fudged something in post and lost the audio. Durr... So, in a tight jam, I invited my beautiful wife to get up off the couch and join me for another session, despite the fact that she was just on the show. No Super Producer Dan this time around, but his spiritual presence helped guide us towards the light. This episode also marks a new edition to the show, as I'm able to plug my turn table in so we can listen to vinyl. This means guests can bring over their favorite records and we'll blast it on air. I'm stoked to say the least! To break in this momentous occasion, we give Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 a spin while I may or may not get a little too sexual with my better half sitting across the table. Since it's just the two of us, sitting in our home, having drinks on a Sunday evening, you get a real si

  • Dan Friesen || JS026.5

    06/09/2016 Duration: 01h16min

    After taking an unplanned holiday last week, Jam Sandwich returns in classic form. On today's episode, Super Producer Dan and I break in the all new Friesen Point Studios after I botched my first attempt with home recordings. We listen to The Cure and Joy Division, talk about our sexual awakenings, and briefly contemplate time. There's a few little glitches in this one, but you probably won't even notice. If anything, it just goes to show whatta scrappy lil' show I run for you, the people. If there's one thing I want everyone to take away from this one it's "Respect the space of others, you stupid licker." Oh and go 'like' the facebook page cause I found a scan of the page from Madonna's sex book (mentioned in the episode) which I will include in the posting. You'll dig it.

  • Claire Jean || JS025

    23/08/2016 Duration: 01h36min

    Today's guest is my best one yet because after the show was finished, I got to go home and fornicate with them. For the 25th episode I asked my wife Claire to join me at Friesen Point Studios to discuss our favorite shared band, Belle and Sebastian, along with the two songs that played during our wedding and some other crap. I have to wonder if I sound different considering my better half is on the show. Early on Claire suggests that listeners might get exposed to my "more sensitive side" but I'm not sure how true that is given my bride's natural gift for toying with my libido. Either way, she's an absolute sweetheart and I love her with all that I got. In fact, from now on, I'm gonna be sensitive as fcuk. All feelings, all the time, from here on out. This episode of Jam Sandwich is best enjoyed with a saucer full of milk, so lick it up kitties.

  • Sammy Arechar || JS024

    16/08/2016 Duration: 01h49min

    Today's guest has many titles. If you've seen him perform stand up comedy, you might know him as Sammy Arechar. Perhaps you know him by his work on the ones and twos as Yung Zucchini. His mother calls him her "sweet prince." The Milwaukee native joins us today and he brought with him I Need A Haircut by Biz Markie. Such a solid album. Thanks Yung ZUCCH! When that wraps up we play the 1999 EP A2G by Blackalicious. We also drink A LOT of beers on this one. Count the can cracks and guess who went the hardest. The odd turn with this episode is Sammy is such a nice young man and it's probably the dirtiest episode yet. I apologize in advance for the fact that I keep talking about that one thing. Ugh, I'm so ashamed I'm trying to be discreet here in the details. I should change the name from Jam Sandwich to The Greasy Toilet Pig Fcuk Show. Anyway, to see the video Sammy mentions, go check out our page on Facebook (search 'Jam Sandwich Podcast') and throw it a like while you're there. Feel free to subscribe and give
