Even though Brother D spent the last weekend at the Rose City Comic-Con, zombies weren't far from his mind.  When he wasn't interviewing comics creators Chris Kohler and Mark Ledford, or chatting with transmedia creator Steve Coker, he watched and reviewed the 2012 short movie Zombie Proof (dir. Ben Lambeth) and the 1964 and/or 1970 film I Eat Your Skin (dir. The line between zombie and vampire wears thin on Episode 189 of Mail Order Zombie when Brother D takes a look at movies like The Living Dead Girl (dir. Jean Rollin) and The Velvet Vampire (dir. Four score and a freakshow ago, Mail Order Zombie brought forth two more zombie movie reviews in Episode 183 of Mail Order Zombie.  Brother D visits the sideshow when he reviews Freakshow Apocalypse: The Unholy Sideshow (dir. In this episode of Mail Order Zombie, Brother D talks about a zombie movie that's been on his radar since he first heard about it in 2010, but since it has such an innocuous name like The Dead (dir. Howard J. Ford and Jonathan Ford), it was difficult to find much information about it online before it was released in the UK last year. It hits DVD and Blu-ray in the US this month, and you'll have to listen to Episode #174 to hear if the movie lives up to D's expectations! It could be argued that Bill Hinzman's performance in the original Night of the Living Dead created the zombie archetype that would define our favorite movie monster for over forty years.  In March 2011, he appeared on Mail Order Zombie for an interview supporting his then-latest movie River of Darkness, and during the interview Brother D and Mr. Hinzman couldn't leave the zombies alone.Mr. Bill Hinzman passed away February 5, 2011.  Thank you for your contribution to this dark and spooky corner of moviedom, Mr. Hinzman.  RIP.(There will be a regularly scheduled episode of Mail Order Zombie later this week on Thursday, 2/9/12.)
