Pastor Chris continues the second part of Jesus As the Bread of Life

Jesus called Himself the bread of life. What an interesting title to give Himself. If you think about what bread does, it nourishes our bodies and gives us strength. We need bread (food) to live. Without it, our bodies cannot survive. Jesus makes that comparison to Himself. He nourishes our souls and gives us strength. We need Him to live; without Him, our souls cannot survive.

God came to us. What a thought--that He chose to come to us.

Jesus wasn't just a good man. Jesus claimed to be so much more ... In our world and culture, sometimes it's hard to see and appreciate just what He did and said. But just think: He spoke the world into existence. He made humankind. He took the form of a man and was the very Son of God clothed in mortal flesh. Pretty amazing.

It's His work, not ours. We are to look to Jesus, follow Him, walk as He walked, and trust Him with whatever He wants to do. Pastor Chris challenges us to this regard.
