Jesus called Himself the bread of life. What an interesting title to give Himself. If you think about what bread does, it nourishes our bodies and gives us strength. We need bread (food) to live. Without it, our bodies cannot survive. Jesus makes that comparison to Himself. He nourishes our souls and gives us strength. We need Him to live; without Him, our souls cannot survive.
