Welcome back to The Big Apple Sports Hour we kick off the show with the shocker that was LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers suffering their first loss of the postseason. Give credit where credit is due as the Boston Celtics fought back from a 21 point deficit in the third quarter without Isaiah Thomas no less.  Next, we'll dive into the New York baseball scene with CBS Radio-WFAN Host Demetri Adarahtas and he'll give us his thoughts on both the New York Mets and Yankees.  Finally, Stopsky and G take a look at the NBA Draft as it pertains to the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.

Kristine and Dan are back, and busier than ever. Topics for the show will include: Mayweather v. McGregor, UFC 211, Ring of Honor's War the Worlds PPV, Bellator and UFC Long Island. Finally, we will preview WWE's Backlash PPV. 

The Box Out returns after an action packed week of basketball news. The NBA Draft Lottery was Tuesday and as usual, the Knicks was left in the cold as they received the eighth pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. This comes after being slotted for the seventh spot. Where do the Knicks go with this pick? The Brooklyn Nets saw their first-round pick go to the Boston Celtics as payment for the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce years ago. Jason and Kahlil discuss the lottery, including the Nets receiving nothing for their bad season. We are in the conference finals of the NBA Playoffs and at this point, it seems that Golden State and Cleveland are in the driver’s seat for the NBA Finals. The guys will analyze what they have seen so far in the conference finals and whether both teams can keep up this pace. That and more on a new edition of The Box Out.

Host Erica Ayala is joined by Sandra Velasquez, the founder of Hockey Fights Hate. Welcome back to another edition of The Big Apple Sports Hour with Matt Stopsky and Greg Larnerd.  The New York Rangers magical playoff run has ended at the hands of the Ottawa Senators, we'll break it down with Scoring Mike Warren of WIRY Radio one last time. Plus we'll take your calls on the Rangers loss live with Mike on the line. Later, Mike will stick with us to talk New York baseball, the Yankees celebrated Derek Jeter day on Sunday as the Mets sputtered in Mllwaukee.  In our final segment Stopsky and G will dive into some NBA Playoff action. No Kawhi, big problems for the San Antonio Spurs and we've got ourselves a Game 7 tonight between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards.

It’s Thursday night and that means The Box Out on Double G Sports Radio. Kahlil and Jason will discuss the playoffs up this point. The Cavaliers and Warrior continued their dominance over the Eastern and Western conferences respectively. The guys will discuss whether these two teams will walk into the NBA Finals undefeated. The big conversation this week was whether LeBron James is now better than Michael Jordan. The Box Out will take on this absurd converstaion and give our views in this ongoing topic.   Two more teams were eliminated as the Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors are now on their summer vacations. Kahlil and Jason will look at what the future holds for those two teams, especially in Toronto with free agent point guard Kyle Lowry. That and all your playoff news on the next The Box Out.

The Box Out returns! After a week off, Double G Sports’ resident basketball experts are back to discuss all things b-ball. Since the last show, there has not been much news on the New York Knick front...but that changed earlier this week as reports has the Knicks looking at a French point guard for their seventh draft spot. Kahlil and Jason will discuss the likelihood of Phil Jackson drafting a foreign player in one of arguably one of the deepest drafts in recent history. The NBA Playoffs are in full swing as we are in the second round of the postseason. The guys will discuss whether the Cavaliers have enough in the tank to win the championship or whether the Warriors still remain the favorites to the NBA title. That and so much more on The Box Out!
