From Philly To Cali

What’s up my babecakes.  I call this a quickie cast.  I talk about my recent trip to Los Angeles; The Ding Dong Show & A2M’s rap video, Scuba Dive.  I’ve got a surprise guest hosting on my show on the next podcast & hook you all up with some deals from Loot Crate.  Enjoy!

Good Afternoon my friends, family & young fine fellows.  Back at it again with my mundane talk here on From Philly to Cali.  I did showcase at The Ding Dong Show with Don Barris, Maryjane, Schizo & many of the other great & talented cast of the show.  Did I make it any better?  Nah.  I’m just happy they allowed me to be a guest on their show.  Thanks, Don.  I was also interviewed by the man himself Don Barris on Simply Don the Podcast the following day.  It was super cool to experience my first podcast interview ever by another legend.  So Don, thanks for popping my guest host podcast cherry, my friend.  The interview itself was a solid and a little over an hour interview where Don interviews what’s been happening with me over the course of the months & how I ended up at the Comedy Store.  Stay tuned for the podcast release tomorrow on 03/24/2019 on “Simply Don the Podcast” available in iTunes & Google Play.  I will be making another little cameo at The Ding Dong Show this upcoming Monday

Hola folks, long time no talk.  My theme music could not be incorporated into this as there isn’t enough memory on my device to do that.  I’m posting this now because I’m trying to be as consistent as I can with these podcasts.  A few topics covered: I did my first standup mini but at the Comedy Store, shook David Alan Grier’s hand, got to chat with Skyler Stone as well as got to see Skyler, Joe Rogan, Marc Maron, Dane Cook & Brian Posehn at the Comedy Store.  I also met up with my pal, Don Barris.  He wants me to do the Ding Dong Show this Monday & podcast on Tuesday.  With that said, I’ve lengthend my stay at my current hotel, postponed my flight & will be checking out next week on Wednesday 03/20.  Once I land in San Francisco, it’s tine for me to pack my bags to start pursuing what I love within the entertainment Mecca, Los Angeles.  With that said, here’s a few updates with what’s going on with me.  Much love! -Dave

Anybody ever wonder who Vin Diesel was actually portraying in the hit classic The Fast and the Furious?  Welp, it was actually my brother, Ryan Holiday.  Ryan gets into a Craigslist scuffle and basically had to Captain America his way out of it.  Turns out the dude he met up with was bad news & Ryan figured it out.  We delve deep into some UFC talk with Roy Nelson & Crocop but get this..I’m checking my sources & I don’t see them listed for Bellator 217.  With that said, I’m assuming this fight’s up in the air?  Also, Sentinels.  What are they?  Welp, you’ll see on this show too.  Enjoy shabrehlz’s

Bonus cast # 2 shabrehlz’s.  Ryan & I touch up on a few tops.  And by tops I mean, topics.  Gotta sweet package, David’s Tom Hardy, Ryan discovers a couple of gofers & Dave has a Taken moment at the mall.  And what do I mean by Taken?  Welp, you a fan of Liam Neeson.  There ya go.  Spread the word of From Philly to Cali my brosephs.

Ryan and I did podcast number 2 today. We learn that Ryan had to get some lunch as he was making a hot commute in 7 degree Pennsylvania weather. WELPPPPPPPPPP!!!! That aside, we delve into a little bit of @nicklachey , fight between @jonnybones & @dc_mma , @cowboycerrone & @thenotoriousmma as well as the @chrishemsworth flick, Bad Times at El Royale. We also talk a little basketball between the @warriors & @lakers tonight as well as the @sixers & @houstonrockets tonight too. Little did I know that near the end of it all I’d be passionately discussing my yearning for a Silver Surfer & Galactus movie that I’m hopeful @marvel will make one day. A good one, though, please. If you guys want someone to play Galactus, I’m alllllllllll in. Or @hanksta69 can play Silver Surfer’s board and I’ll be The Silver Surfer and @shaq can play Galactus. How ya like them apples?

Did a nice solid 1.25 hours with this gentleman and good friend of mine, Ryan Drews.  Aka @hanksta69 .  Known him for 12 years & this is something him and I have been wanting to do for many years now.  Welp, here’s our first video podcast trailer together where we briefly discuss the Philadelphia Eagles, Wawa’s beauty & their coffee, lil’ bit O’ weight & powerlifting as well as our awesome time doing Top Golf with my cousin & his friends yesterday.  To my Texas peeps, I do delve into my brief wrestling career at James Madison High School & my choir days.  Ryan and I also dive deep with our adventures.  Podcast will be posted on my channel within the next few days or so.  Happy Holidays & much love!
