Get Slayed: A Buffy Podcast

We finally talk about the most anticipated (read: dreaded) episode of Buffy season five, and discover Natalie reads from right to left. We talk crushes and break some new ground on that whole Angel and Spike thing. Meanwhile, Dawn finally gets a clue. 

Buffy goes back to class, and we spend a lot of time talking about how the classroom is an extension of Buffy's slayer studies, leading to her stand against the Watcher's Council. A lot of references to Merlin and Shadowhunters abound. 

In which Natalie and Katey are just really angry, guys. A demon falls from outer space (??) and Riley leaves for good, but not before the show betrays Buffy herself. 

There's some fools in love. Plus, a history lesson.

Katey and Natalie discuss Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5 episodes "No Place Like Home" & "Family."

Katey and Natalie discuss how certain tropes hold up 20 years later in episodes 3 and 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5, "The Replacement" and "Out of My Mind." Oh, and that whole Spike thing happens.

Author Stacey Kade also doesn't have an answer for why Sunnydale keeps growing inexplicably. So Katey, Natalie, and Stacey break down season 4 by characters instead, and throw some not so subtle shade to Game of Thrones while we're at it. 

Adam's defeated, but things are still "Restless."

Natalie solicits fan fiction. Katey fears this episode has no rhythmn. 

Katey's phone won't stop going off. Then there's way too much talk about incest. We're going to blame Natalie for this one, okay?

Faith returns and Natalie and Katey talk in circles for awhile. There's some Twitter drama.

We still got Riley problems. Also Riley has Riley problems.

Natalie and Katey talk some football and then Giles' mid life crisis during "Doomed" and "A New Man."

Natalie and Katey talk for two hours about the greatest episode of Buffy: "Hush." Also, we discuss "Something Blue."  

Katey and Natalie discuss the word "courting" and whether it's an appropriate way to refer to dating. 

Katey gets easily destracted during this disucssion of a couple of unfortunate "Buffy" episodes: "Beer Bad" and "Wild At Heart."

Natalie and Katey discuss the first two episodes of the new season, "The Freshman" and "Living Condtions." Watch out for a major spoiler for "Buffy" season 5.
