Loosely based on a true story, wheelchair bound Franklin Delano Roosevelt struggles with polio as he fights to win a presidential election and end the Great Depression. The crippled hero then braves a changing world as he leads his country into the second world war to battle axis forces commanded by Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito. Also, the axis leaders are all werewolves and FDR has a wheelchair with machine-guns. His son does a poo in a jar.

Despite the title, at no point is this ever a battle between an airplane and a volcano. One can only wonder what such a competition would be like or how a winner would be judged, but moving on, James and Maxi discuss this movie about a plane that not even Superman could save.
