You know him, you love him, Mike Watt legendary bass player of the Minutemen is on the show today. Jed and his band Zig Zags recently recorded a split 7" with Mike and his band the Secondmen where they each cover each others songs. The "LA to Pedro ep" is out now via Nomad Eel records! On this episode Jed heads down to San Pedro to guest on the Watt from Pedro show and then turns the mic around on Watt himself. I don't remember how I met Akul but as I have gotten to know him over the years I've found out that we have a ton in common. We have the same sense of humor allowing ourselves to be made fun of as well as breaking each other's balls. We both come from an Improv comedy background and have been involved in music as well as acting. In this episode we discuss Akul's Indian origins, his beginnings in Improv Comedy and his cultural appropriations of both White and Jamaican cultures. You're listening to Jedbanger's Ball!
