I had an interesting exchange on Twitter while asking folks what they need in their writing community (speaking of, I'd love to hear your response too!). One of the answers was, "I need more 5-star reviews." When I suggested he rethink the notion as honest, critical reviews are more helpful to us as authors, he insisted that while the editor may see the benefit, the book marketer needs the top-tier reviews.Well...no, actually.
