This is the second part of a message about the significance of God's Word in our lives. God's Word is so much more than a book (The Bible). God created the heavens and the earth by His Word. He is upholding all things by His Word. All that Gld created is still subject to the Word of God.

This message is about seeing the Word of God for what it really is. It is so much more than a book. It was what created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1) and what is even now holding all things together (Hebrews 1:3). Lord, open our eyes to .understand your Word. 

One of the keys to walking with GOD is to slow down and not live such a hurried life. Learn to be fully present in every moment. Jesus was never in a hurry and He was always fully present. He is modeled a way for us to live. 

One of the most important rhythms of the kingdom involves that balance between rest and work (abiding and fruitfulness, pruning and more fruit, being a son and doing the works of a son). This is a message about the importance of rest and abiding.

This is a message about the kinds of tongues that are spoken about in the New Testament and their value in our spiritual life. This message is particularly focused on tongues for intercession and tongues for personal edification and revelation.

We, as Christians, are all in a process of becoming like Jesus. That process involved a brokenness in our lives that allows God to live in and through us. This message is about the importance of that brokenness.

This message was shared on Father's Day 2024. There is a blessing that God wants to give everyone of His children. It is meant to be passed onto each child through their earthly father. Many did not have a natural father that understood his role. If you are one of those people, this message is especially for you.

One of the rhythms that is life-giving for a Christian is prayer. Prayer is our God connection for daily life. Praying in the spirit (tongues) is an amazing gift that God has given us that enables us to pray without ceasing. Paul said, he who speaks in tongues edifies himself... (1 Cor 14:4). There are so many amazing benefits from praying in the spirit. 

In Acts 2 the church was birthed as Peter preached the first gospel message after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The promise of the Father, the oupouring of the Holy Spirit began on that day. This passage in Acts 2 also reveals the way that we are to respond to the gospel. 1) Repent 2) Be Water Baptized 3) Receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. 

There are certain activities that God has designed to be life-giving for us as God's kids (i.e. spending time in His Word, Prayer, etc.) These activities require discipline to implement into our daily life but after a season the need for discipline is gone because they have become a pattern or rhythm in our life. This message is focused on the importance of God's Word in our life.

This is the first in a series about cultivating habits that are life-giving. As a Chrisitan, there are certain things that are life-giving for us. Reading the Word, praying, etc. These rhythms or habits that are life-giving require discipline at first but. But after a season of time, the discipline is no longer required because they have become a rhythm or pattern in our life.
