Synopsis
Dear Nana is a weekly podcast that asks: What's the best advice you've ever been given? With guests ranging from mostly comedians to whomever Irene, more affectionately known as "Nana," can trick into coming on the show, we learn a new life nugget each week. Listeners who are seeking advice are encouraged to write in each week with the hopes that Nana and her guest can give them the advice they need.

Shane Torres
25/06/2019 Duration: 01h13minShane Torres joins Nana this week to discuss Irene's "podcast voice" crushes, and Shane basically takes over the podcast and starts asking Nana very personal questions. My apologies for the delay with how late I am in uploading this episode, I fell asleep Sunday night, hit the snooze by accident Monday morning and while technically it's 3:00 am on Tuesday it's still Monday for me but I still feel bad. Like I'm late for picking up my kids from school. My apologies little ones, Nana loves you.

Kippy Bonus Episode!
17/06/2019 Duration: 48minKippy Bonus Ep! WE originally recorded two weeks ago in the park but the Zoom6 recorder died halfway through our conversation and the file was lost. This recording is the second part of that conversation, once I bought new batteries and went to the bathroom and we tried to pick up where we left off. Kevin "Kippy" Ryan is always a delight. Pat Burtscher
27/05/2019 Duration: 01h19sPat Burtscher joins Irene on this episode of Dear Nana: Advice From An Idiot. I'm still not sure if people read these so it feels silly to continue in the third person but here we are: Pat covers his early life and how his older brother got him to eventually try stand-up comedy as well as nuggets of advice that he's held on to along the way. This episode may start off slow but within 20 minutes Pat and Irene are cooking with gas. If you have any questions or are seeking advice, please email DearNanaPod@gmail.com

Liz Heather
21/05/2019 Duration: 01h14minI'm still not sure if anyone reads these but! Liz Heather was the first person to read my screenplay and was so nice and tender and wonderful about it, I'll never forget it. She's also one of the best hangs and I love our standing monthly dates. She selflessly indulges me because I don't have a boyfriend so together we check out cute (mostly Mexican) places to eat in the city. Maybe the next time she's on we'll rate our favorites. Lady Liz is what I call her, but you can call her Liz Heather. Email DearNanaPod@gmail.com with any comments, questions or advice you may be seeking out!

Dominik + Alessandra Garcia-Lorido
13/05/2019 Duration: 01h20minDoes anyone even read these? It's always so tough for me to write them? Does it really help the "search" ??? If you really want a description to this week's episode email me at DearNanaPod@gmail.com

Queef Latina
06/05/2019 Duration: 01h08minQueef Latina joins Irene on this episode as they record in Miami, Florida in Queef's home: House of Shame. Irene is running on fumes and she messes up Queef's name 2.5 seconds in: Anthony Mendez. Anthony patiently answers some FAQ's on drag and what it's like to be a drag mother. Anthony and Irene met while on a birthright trip to Cuba in 2017 and became instant friends. They also touch on what it's like to navigate between Cuban and American culture, how to balance being an artist while not burning out and where they turn to for inspiration. WARNING: ***This episode is in Spanglish*** If that bothers you, bummer bro! Also, email me time stamps and I'll translate it for you. Jason Loughlin
29/04/2019 Duration: 01h05minJason Loughlin joins Irene as her fourth guest on Dear Nana: Advice From An Idiot. I’m going to stop counting the guests after this one, you guys get how order and dates work. Irene and Jason met about three years ago in New York City and have been friends ever since. Jason is a professional musician and in this episode he breaks down just how a song gets airplay and tells the story of how a tough teacher became a lifelong friend along with some tangents and rants in between. They recorded this episode just after Jason gave Irene her first guitar lesson. He was very nice and patient with her. It's weird to go from third person to first back to third. Does anyone even read these?
