Things take a little bit of a different turn this week on the show. Kyle is fresh off a concussion he sustained while in net, and while he shouldn't have been out in public, we took the chance to exploit his experience and the symptoms that were still very clearly affecting him less than 48 hours after the incident. We hope it brings a little light to the seriousness of the fragility of the human brain, and how, whether we want to admit it or not, is undeniably an issue at every level of play. Enjoy this "Late Night NPR" style episode.

Hockey, the ultimate team sport. Players play for it, fans cheer for it...but does the incredible sense of team first cause a problem for players as individuals? How appropriate is it that we kick off October with episode 13? We think it was totally meant to be. Lot's of storylines going on in the hockey world, including some familiar faces who have made the big show to kick off the new season. We give some insights as well, on how we think the local community can really get involved with the imminent new team coming to Seattle...it's going to happen...we're calling it! 

There is so much going on this time of year...and today the boys took a few rabbit trails. Don't worry, we do take some time to talk about hockey...and traffic, and bananas, and one of our other favorite subjects as fall hits in the Northern Hemisphere...the horror genre. IT'S HERE!!! IT'S HERE!!! Hockey season is HERE! But it's only preseason you say? NO! Well, maybe in the NHL, but the juniors are up and running now! The boys share their excitement in this episode...both for hockey, and for other fall traditions. And...our old asses throw in some information about traffic. What more could you ask for? We have hit Episode 10! The boys couldn't be happier to welcome our first guest of the show, Punk Rock legend Russ Rankin of the band Good Riddance. Did we mention he is also a scout in the WHL? Check out our interview with Russ and also our usual shenanigans as we talk about an NHL player eating bananas, fortnite, and...gulp...a suspension.

We are so close that we can taste it. Hockey season is right around the corner. Ice is in at a lot of the rinks, players are returning to training camps, and the boys are once again not without the hot topics you want...no you NEED to hear discussed. Don't be fooled by the title of this week's episode...it's not what you think...well maybe it is what you think but that's beside the point. It's still the offseason and we are desperately waiting for hockey season to get going again. So desperate that our conversations wander. The good news is, August marks the last full month of summer and some leagues will be into preseason action before the calendar turns again. The boys are all back together for the first time in what seems like forever. Summer is in full swing, but hockey is still on our mind...however, we spend lots of time talking about Letterkenny...alot of time. We also remember Razor Ray Emery. We've made it through the July 4th holiday and now look towards Labor Day and the unofficial end to summer. Yes...Fall is coming. Kyle and Kory are out this week, so Aaron and special guest Anya, aka the "not your average fan" lock it down for this episode. We cover recent happenings in the hockey world, as well as our latest installment of #RazzyWatch2018, and...Anya offers her take on the current state of the in-game experience. The Hockey Club from our nation's capital has won their first Stanley Cup ever. Time to relax and celebrate, right? WRONG! The off season only means ice is out of the rinks for the moment. There are still many things going on, and we hit on a few of them. We find out that the majority of fans find two labradoodles to be better than a single English Bulldog...mind-boggling. Check out Aaron and Kyle give their take on other less important matters as well.

We are down a man as one of our bearded brothers succumbed to the plague.
