You get upset or something triggers you and then you might spin out a bit in your head and then tell someone else about it and then you say something like am I crazy for thinking this? I mean I should be upset about this right? This is just you looking for someone else to validate your feelings and thoughts. It’s not wrong or right to do this, by the way, I for sure do it too. But what I want to suggest you start doing is validate your own feelings. I realized that I do this on the regular basis and I’ve been trying to find a way to explain the beautiful benefit of doing this and finally figured out how to share it. They tell me, they used to feel good, they used to do fun things and hobbies and exercise and go out and try new things.   Then they get into a habit of drinking wine and then before they even realize it they don’t feel like themselves.    They feel stuck in a rut, they just want to drink wine at night, they tell me it’s just automatic sometimes they don’t even think about it.   They aren’t inspired, they don’t get out there and do the things, sometimes their homes get cluttered, they don’t exercise anymore, their relationships just feel flat.   And then they tell me they just want to feel like themselves again.   And instantly I know that they have lost that connection with themselves and the process of getting them back to knowing themselves and enjoying themselves is what is required to permanently stop over-drinking.   Tune into th

    Why do I?I am going to help you always have an answer to this question. Why do I?… drink, overeat, spin out, yell, do things that I actually don’t want to do. Or NOT do. Why can’t I Why don’t I? Same question. When your brain asks this question it’s important to answer it. If we don’t answer the questions we ask our selves, we don’t get resolution and it feels confusing and incomplete and humans generally don’t like the way that feels so then we get motivated to get out of that pain and we go seek pleasure to avoid it.
