Couple Goals With S&m

S&M are covering the current and relevant topics this week.  Up first Shawn tells us about the making of James Cameron's Terminator.  Then Maggie switches gears slightly and covers Stephen King.

This week Shawn covers video games that have been turned into movies and Maggie tells us all a little US History from World War II.  (Topics may include Street Fighter, the new Sonic the Hedgehog, and Japanese Cannibals.)

It's our 50th episode!  Maggie talks about the first ever serial killer and it ISN'T A BUMMER.  Then Shawn talks about The Punisher, kind of a lot.

After a super bummer episode last week, S&M bounce back with all fun, all the time!  This week Shawn tells us all about the Muppets and Maggie covers a listener topic that ISN'T MURDER!  It's Killdozer!  (Which sounds a lot like murder.)

It's the week after Thanksgiving and S&M are here to bum you out.  Maggie tells us about the Munchausen by Proxy case of Lacey Spears and her son Garnett.  Then Shawn begins to talk about Pearl Jam but quickly narrows in on the story behind their hit "Jeremy" which IS A TOTAL BUMMER.  Hooray!  Everything is awful!

Do you like American holidays?  If so, you've come to the right place!  This week we're covering the history of American Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas!  All holidays, all the time!  Also, Shawn tries to claim he invented Black Friday. (He did not.)

Shawn bamboozled Maggie again.  He CLAIMED this wasn't going to be a Christmas episode and then he covered Die Hard.  Maggie covered Mr. Cruel, the rapist turned murderer who terrorized Australia in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  He was once thought to be the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer, but now that Joseph James DeAngelo is in custody, we know they are different men and Mr. Cruel is still out there.

S&M went to see the new Halloween and give a spoiler-free review.  But also, is it possible to spoil the Halloween movies? Then Shawn wraps up his two-parter on Ghostbusters and Maggie covers the unsolved mystery of D.B. Cooper.

This week, Maggie's sick.  There almost wasn't an episode.  But then there was.  So that's cool.   Maggie continues her unsolved mysteries series by telling us about the Circleville Letter Writer and Shawn begins his Ghostbuster series.

Here it is, in all its glory. Also, it turns out that one guy's name is Schlittenbauer. Whoops. Shawn and Maggie discuss the Venom movie, the Hinterkaifeck unsolved murders, and Beavis and Butt-head. And they butcher the name 'Schlittenbauer' the whole time.
