In the early 1940s, Henry Ford experimented with making plastic parts for automobiles. His experiments resulted in what's know as the 'hemp car'. Henry Ford’s hemp car had been in the works for about 12 years sometime between the end of World War I and the start of World War II.

The NCAA Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports (CSMAS) signaled its support for removing Cannabis from the Association's banned drug list and testing protocols. Adult-use Cannabis is not legal in Texas. In 2015, the Texas Compassionate Use Act legalized high-CBD (at least 10%) and low-THC (no more than 0.5%) oil for epilepsy patients. In 2019, the law expanded to add several more conditions, but it is still extremely limited. This is the first of many discussions with Shane Saum.
