  • "Slavoj Žižek" (w/ Tim Mahoney)

    17/03/2017 Duration: 42min

On a steamy and thought provoking episode of Literati, your near perfect hosts, Colin & Michael, admit some mistakes they’ve made on previous shows. Then, they reveal their brand new erotic business endeavor, “Dr. Flesh” — a website that tells you exactly where to find the sexiest parts of every book ever made. Think “Mr. Skin,” but for books! Finally, they invite Slovenian philosopher and cultural critic, Slavoj Žižek (Tim Mahoney, producer at MTV) onto the show to read a chapter from his most recent book, “Post-Truth Axiomatic Hermeneutics: How The Myth Of A Myth Lied To The Western World - Essays On Hegel, Lacan, And The Film Cruel Intentions.”

  • "Ralph Dobis" (w/ Mark Vigeant)

    03/03/2017 Duration: 41min

On an all new episode of Literati, your interesting hosts Colin & Michael discuss the number one rule of writing. Hint: It involves John Grisham’s “The Pelican Brief.” Then, they give listeners a few tips on how to avoid making novice writing mistakes — like sucking on the end of your pencil too hard. Later, they invite dad poet, Ralph Dobis, onto the show to read from his book of poems “Leaves Of Grass I Trimmed With My Mower.”

  • "About The Authors" (w/ your Hosts)

    16/02/2017 Duration: 57min

Colin & Michael are sick and tired of podcast “guests” getting all the attention, when they are just as funny and smart and handsome. So to prove to their listeners how funny and smart and handsome they are, Colin & Michael have recorded an “about the author” episode, just for you.

  • "Lamont" (w/ Dan Chamberlain)

    02/02/2017 Duration: 39min

Colin & Michael provide listeners with a list of major ideas and concepts they'll need to write a successful book. Then, they explain how to make your characters more exciting by giving them a defining characteristic. Later, they invite Lamont (Dan Chamberlain) onto the show to read from Book Four of his eBook fantasy series, "The Riders Of JaRule."

  • "David Angeles" (w/ Jordan Mendoza)

    20/01/2017 Duration: 41min

It is an undisputed fact that books are boring, especially the long ones. So to help writers pen engaging, suspenseful prose, your hosts Colin & Michael deliver a short lecture on how to surprise your readers. Then, they have a good laugh reading the petty, worthless, objectively false reviews of the 100+ perfect books they’ve collectively written thus far. Later, they invite die-hard Harry Potter fan David Angeles (Jordan Mendoza) onto the program to read from his new, original book “The Underwater World Of Harold Peters.”

  • "Johnifer Powells" (w/ Katie Hartman)

    05/01/2017 Duration: 33min

In an effort to appear more approachable, Colin & Michael agree to answer questions submitted by their fans, despite really really not wanting to. Then, they share with listeners some of their favorite quotes and sayings about writing to get them inspired. Later, they invite Johnifer Powells (Katie Hartman) onto the show to read an excerpt from her new book, "Hurricane In My Heart, Earthquake In My Loins, and Eat Pray Love On My Shelf."

  • "John Darcy" (w/ Alex French)

    22/12/2016 Duration: 40min

On this week’s perfect episode of Literati, Colin & Michael play a fun game called “Dictionary Guessing,” where they flip to a random word in the dictionary and see how it applies to them. Then, in their most controversial segment to date, they willingly dishonor the last wills and testaments of famous dead writers by revealing their pen names on the podcast. Later, they invite author John Darcy (Alex French) onto the program to read from his collection of short stories, “Skinemax,” based on the titles of real pornographic films. Not the films…the titles.

  • "Taylor Swift's Manuscript" (w/ Dylan Marron)

    09/12/2016 Duration: 47min

This week, Colin & Michael answer fan mail and help listeners develop their own “writer’s schedule." Then, they cover the definitive list of bad short sentences all writers should avoid using in their novel. Later, they invite Dylan Marron onto the show to read from Taylor Swift’s uncovered fiction manuscript, that boldly engages in intersectional feminism.
