The boys are back in town. After some Summer shenanigans, the guys are finally back together to discuss the DC Comics series "The Dark Knight III: The Master Race" and from Image Comics "Reborn". To end off the way too long cast, Spider-Man: Homecoming gets its brief spot in the sun.

In this special E.T. Extravaganza we review, what is commonly referred to as "The Worst Game Ever Made", E.T. The Extra Terrestrial for the Atari 2600.  We also review the Documentary covering the larger than life myth of the game, and its impact on the crash of the gaming industry "Atari: Game Over" (2014) Directed by Zack Penn. Finally a review the movie that started it all, Steven Spielberg's, 1982 classic "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. The movie so nice, they named it twice. And then just for giggles we discuss cult 8-bit animated series "Code Monkeys" from G4TV, created by Adam De La Pena. In which a certain episode lampoons the circumstances of the creation of the legendarily bad game. 

With the GFU holy trinity reunited, the guys dive into the newest blockbuster film in the DCU, Wonder Woman, staring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Danny Huston, and Robin Wright. Directed by Patty Jenkins.

Stew and Aaron go Patless in this episode and together discuss the newest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, staring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, and Kurt Russell. Directed by James Gunn.

The gang sits downs to review both the Mass Effect Andromeda game published by BioWare Studios, as well as discuss this Month's book club assignment, the Mass Effect Omnibus Vol. 1 comic book published by Dark Horse Comics.

On this episode, the guys give their thoughts and impressions on the classic manga and anime film adaption of Ghost in the Shell (2017), staring Scarlet Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, and Michael Pitt; directed by Rupert Sanders, and what the outcome could mean for the future of anime and Sci-Fi based movies.  Aaron also has Pat and Stew watch the trailers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor: Ragnarok, since they were the only two people on the planet not to have seen them. We review the 2017 sepia-toned action thriller "Logan" starring Hugh Jackman in his swan song performance of the surly Canadian Wolverine. Also starring Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keene. Directed by James Mangold.  In a SPOILER filled podcast we discuss X-23, "Clogan", and the differences between kid friendly Wolverine, and R-Rated Wolverine.    

This episode starts off by discussing Stewart's conspiracy theory that Star Lord's real father in Marvel's Gaurdians of The Galaxy is actually Jeff Bridges from 1984's John Carpenter Sci-Fi Film, "Starman". Then GFU discusses the Book-Club Assignment: Marvel's "The Infinity Gauntlet" (1991) - Written by Jim Starlin / Penciled by George Perez and Ron Lim. Will this be a worthy story line to serve as the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? What elements will the comic book cary over to the film Marvel Infinity War: Parts 1 & 2?  

The gang summons their latest assignment, the Kickstarted high fantasy film series, Mythica. We discuss magic, dragons, orcs, paladins, zombie girls, and bad CG. We review all 5 films: A Quest for Heroes, The Darkspore, The Necromancer, The Iron Crown, and The God Slayer Starring Kevin Sorbo, Melanie Stone, Adam Johnson, Jake Stormoen, Nicola Posener & Matt Mercer. The crew of Geek Force Ultra screened Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), and gives their intitial review. We walk out of the theatre and make the jump to lightspeed to the recording studio at Yavin base in order to discuss the much anticipated, 1st stand alone Star Wars film starring Felicity Jones, James Earl Jones (no relation), Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, and Mads Milkkensen.  Star Wars spoilers abound as the 3 offer thier mixed reactions.   

With the release of 2016's Doctor Strange on the horizon, GFU remembers a simpler time when studios wouldn't touch a Marvel property with a $165-Million-dollar-budget-pole. Will these Ancient relics of Marvel Studios hold a candle to Benedict Cumberbach's Inception-Inspired Magnum Opus? 01:50 - Review of Doctor Strange (1978) Directed by Phillip DeGuere Jr., Starring Peter Hooten as Doctor Strange & Jessica Walter as Morgan LeFay 33:30 - Review of Doctor Mordrid (1992) Directed by Albert & Charles Band, Starring Jeffery Combs as Doctor Mordrid in this unlicensed adaptation of Dr. Strange.  Warning - It was impossible not to use foul language while reviewing these movies.
