Cam Cunningham (Class of 2017) pays us a visit to talk about his sciencey world and how much he's learned since he started working in grade 11. He talks about his criminology program at KPU and how wonderful and stressful university life can be. Then we all travel back in time at 88 mph to talk to our younger selves.

Talented, funny, and eager to learn, twins Kristie and Kassie Lind join us to talk at length about musicals, acting, memes they love, morse code, languages, movies, and lettuce burgers. They are in grade 8 and just finished playing mafia heavies / pastry chefs in Delview's production of The Drowsy Chaperone which featured their big musical number, "Toledo Surprise" (delicious recipe / veiled threat). Turpin and I are speechless after Kassie's top-locker math but I Toledo surprise them with some of my own nerdy trinkets.

Mark Pocock, PE teacher and Athletic Director, stops in to talk to Mr. Sahli and I about his obsession with movies, composing music and playing guitar for a rock band ("Between Takes" on streaming and iTunes), and what led up to his first teaching gig at Delview. I forget to ask him about being a poster boy in the late 80's for Nintendo but I'll post something on social media (@raideopodcast).

Diaz is back along with two of our HEROS - Isabelle Levy and Bhawna Handa! The students demonstrate ASMR (leaving Diaz confused), talk about the mission of the HEROS (Helping Everyone Respect Our Society) program, debate about phones and social media, and for the first time, reveal their career aspirations after they graduate. An amazingly fun and enlightening conversation with these terrific people!

Maya, daughter of our day custodian Cecelio chats with us about her experience traveling by herself as a young girl to Japan, her aspirations to become an elementary school teacher, and balut. Mr. Sahli co-hosts in the first episode ever without an intro (student council is on hiatus due to a restructuring - some exciting news to come after Spring Break)!

Longtime Delview teacher and co-founder of Thanks For Giving Ron McNeill, now retired, helps us walk down memory lane as we celebrate our 50th year as a school. He tells stories about what the school was like in the past and also what makes us culturally special as we move into the future. Wendy Goltz makes her first appearance ever at the start of the episode to talk about #Delview50 which is our open house on February 22nd.

Delview alum (Grad 2015) Agape Mngomezulu sheds some light on the movie and television industry in B.C. As a professional stage and screen actor, Agape has appeared on shows such as "Supernatural" and most recently landed a recurring speaking role on "The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco" (IMDB). He also talks about life in Swaziland where he was born and raised until he was 10. Deora and Taman visit for some Student Council business.

Delview alums Nathan Naiker and Shivneel Reddy talk to us about life after high school, what it's like to be a YouTuber, videography, Riverdale, the burger challenge, 3D movies, Disney, drama, designated survivors, and politics - wha?! Ms. Taffinder slides into our podcast studio for a grand slam of an episode as she talks about her experiences playing softball in North Dakota, her base line teaching experience as an 8 year old, and she even throws us a curve ball when she declares her love for the Detroit Red Wings. We change up our co-host position with Mr. Sahli on this one. Deora and Taman step up to the plate as they pitch student council activities and touch base on what's new.

Inspiring young artist Jilliana Baccay (@chromatickid on Instagram / chromatickid on YouTube) shares what drives her to keep practicing and learning as she produces her art. Jill talks about her influences, interests, and her own process for creating stuff. She also gives us a sneak peak of a couple big projects that sound amazing! Taman from the Student Council joins us at the start to talk about events in the weeks ahead.

The podcast comes full circle with Cecelio and Ms. Hanson (they were both in Episode 0 - the mic test episode). We talk about plumbing, the Philippines, basketball, reffing, custodial work, pig farms, and more. Amrika informs us about the week to come in school activities. Fun times ahead!

Stella and her safety walk buddy Chahat drop by to chat about their recent boost in confidence performing for a Delview audience at Live At Lunch and Drama productions. Our 20th Episode!!! Mr. Sahli and I talk to Jacob Andresen about his performances as an actor at Delview as well as his adventures in Europe. He tells us what it's like to be a bass player in our new favourite band @theoakstones, performing rock concerts live, and the intense process of working on their first studio recording to be released near the end of the month, "Dark Sunday". Khushi joins me for a celebration of our 20th episode and 26,411 can achievement for Thanks For Giving 25 and to tell us what's going on this week at school.

Laz, freestyle rapper and just a wonderful, thoughtful person in general joins Mr. Turpin and I in the Drama Studio for a fun conversation about hip-hop, Star Wars, history, and how to get into "flow". Turpin tries to go Aaron Burr on me to start things off but before that, Jivan visits us one last time before graduation to talk about the week and years ahead. Enjoy!

Miss Alandra Matei - singer, actor, retail salesperson. In this episode we talk about what Alandra gets out of performing, her ridiculous experiences with store mannequins, and what she plans to do in the future to try to combine all her passions. Mr. Turpin surprises us with some impromptu beatboxing and Khushi practices her high-fives.

Ms. Miller shares her wisdom on salmon dresses, throat voices, pets, food, sports, and other crazy things. Things do get a bit crazy with Ms. Hanson, Ms. Schalk, and Ms. Miller around the mic. Khushi starts us off with what's on the weeks ahead and we finally connect on a high five!

Our new music teacher and resident Aussie expert shares his story full of travels and adventures and how he managed to survive while growing up in a country full of reasonably deadly flora and fauna. Mr. Kim is slightly more subdued this time as co-host until he pulls out his phone and Shagun tells us what's coming up.

Breigh fascinates us with conspiracy theories, universities, politics, and the BCYP (BC Youth Parliament - @bcyparliament) where she represents our riding as a youth MLA. Mr. Sahli joins us Andy Richter style except with more talking and witty retorts while pianoman Jivan gives us the goods on what's going on for students at our school. #illumisahli

Nicole Dennis from small town Laird, Saskatchewan shares her wisdom from growing up as one of 3 teenagers in a town of 200. She's as multi-talented as she is humble! Ms. Hansen co-hosts, Shagun joins us with school event updates, and I try to fend off the mysterious swarm of flies making my microphone buzz... unsuccessfully - sorry!
