Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology, Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Surgery at the University of Arizona and Director of the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health. He is also Corporate Director of Development of Energy Healing at Canyon Ranch. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from Harvard University in 1971 and was an assistant professor at Harvard for five years. He later served as a Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Yale University, Director of the Yale Psychophysiology Center, and Co-Director of the Yale Behavioral Medicine Clinic, before moving to Arizona in 1988. He has published more than four hundred and fifty scientific papers, including six papers in the journal Science. He has co-edited 11 academic books. Joe Cambray, Ph.D. is Provost and Acting President of Pacifica Graduate Institute. He is Past-President of the International Association for Analytical Psychology and has served as the U.S. Editor for The Journal of Analytical Psychology. He was a faculty member at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, Center for Psychoanalytic Studies; and former President of the C.G. Jung Institute of Boston. Dr. Cambray is a Jungian analyst in Santa Barbara, CA. His numerous publications include the book based on his Fay Lectures: Synchronicity: Nature and Psyche in an Interconnected Universe and a volume edited with Linda Carter, Analytical Psychology: Contemporary Perspectives in Jungian Psychology.

Morgan Stebbins is a supervising analyst, faculty member and former President and Director of Training at the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association in New York, where he also maintains a private practice. He has taught Religious Studies and Hermeneutics at the New York Theological Seminary in the Pastoral Care and Counseling program, and he developed a program in Contemplative Jungian Practice at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care which includes contemplative Jung, Buddhism and Psychology, the history of Zen, and the psychology of the Zen sutras. He began his Zen training at the San Francisco Zen Center in 1979. He has written on symbol formation, dreams, the role of mindfulness in analysis, the meaning of compulsion, the archetypal relationship of Buddhism and psychology, and the structural parallels between the theories of Jacques Lacan and CG Jung. He started his career as a Teacher and Counselor before joining Ontario Hydro prior to it being re-organized, where he gained varied HR experience as Staffing Specialist, Labour Relations Officer, Manager of Organization Analysis and Job Evaluation, Project Manager-HR Planning and Integration, Acting Manager-Corporate Staffing, Manager Compensation, and Manager Corporate Compensation and Benefits Services. He has also been Director, Compensation and Benefits for Rogers Communications Inc. According to John Townley: At 6 AM in New York City one morning in the 1960s, dreamt I was in my childhood bathroom (shared with my parents) in Coconut Grove, that I went to pee and peed blood, woke up quite upset. Talked to my mom in the Grove (same house) that evening on the phone and she told me that at exactly 6AM that morning my dad woke up and peed blood, was alarmed, had to go to the doctor. There’s also an interesting dream in which he reappeared after death to tell me about what happened, which very much fit the Buddhist/Theosophical description of afterlife, with a couple of nice touches.

Roderick Main works at the University of Essex, UK, where he is a professor in the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies and Director of the Centre for Myth Studies. He has an MA in Classics from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Religious Studies from Lancaster University. David Strabala is the director of the film What is Synchronicity? The film premiered in November 2014 at The Wild Rose Film Festival in Des Moines, Iowa where it won several awards, including Best Metaphysical Film.  It has appeared in four other film festivals, including the 2015 Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles.  Strabala works full-time as a counselor in the juvenile office at Clay County, Missouri.  He also works part-time in a healing program for veterans and first-responders with post-traumatic stress.  His affiliation with the program, called Warriors’ Ascent, resulted from the film’s publicity and a mutual appreciation for depth psychology.

Gibbs A. Williams. Ph.D. is a psychoanalyst practicing in New York. His choice of profession is an outgrowth of three major interests - philosophy, depth psychology, and spirituality.
