The newest Red Sox infielder makes a big impression with his first hit with his new team on a bases clearing double to extend the lead to 5-1.

The Red Sox shortstop joins Will Flemming and Lou Merloni after the team ended the Twins' 12-game winning streak about breaking the game open and also breaking the team's long drought without a home run.

It had felt like so long since the Red Sox had hit a home run, but Ceddanne Rafaela changes all that to give the Sox the lead on his two-run bomb.
