God does get angry. His wrath is over sin--self-will. Think about what sin costs. How has other people's sin affected you? How has your sin affected others? Sin has a high cost as God deal with and utterly destroys it; however His mercy reaches out to us in the midst of our sin.

God knows the end from the beginning. There's not a hair that falls from your head that He is not aware of. Your thoughts and your actions are all open before him. He knows how the whole story will end. What a comforting thought that our God who has all power, has all knowledge.

God is truly unique. He is the maker of everything. Just think about that--He called into existence anything that is in existence. He sustains it by his very will. He is outside the natural laws of the universe because he made the laws to begin with. That is truly an amazing thought.

God's primary attribute is His holiness. It is a distinct quality as in Him is no darkness at all. He is entirely pure, embodiment of light, incapable of darkness.

Where do you find real rest? Not the shallow, momentary kind (although that is needed, too), but deep soul rest? One person is capable of giving that, and that's the God of rest.

God's design is to develop and empower every child of His to make an impact. You too, if you belong to Him, have the potential to made a dent for eternity.

Prayer. It's God's ordained way of people working with God. It's our power-line, our resource that God has given to change us, and change the world. The Father in heaven MOVES when His people PRAY.

We have a tendency to elevate other things above the Maker of all things. We worship our jobs, families, celebrities, ambitions, etc. Pastor Chris preaches true worship of the One who made all, and through Whom everything remains.

Daniel lived an extraordinary life because he pursued an extraordinary God. What kind of life do you want for yourself? You kids? Those around you?

Hope should be the mark of the Christian. In the world, we will have tribulation, but our God overcomes the world.

A normal Christian charges the hills with Christ's banner held high. We believe Jesus is the healing to the world and we each have our part in sharing His story with others.
