Dr. Busey joined Texas Tech in 2018 after serving for the US Army as an Officer in Charge, Medical Director, Transitional Year Assistant Program Director, and Patient Center Medical Home Champion for Fort Bliss, TX. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Busey completed medical school at Western University College Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and was part of the Northwest Track, trailblazing rotations in Washington and Oregon. Dr. Busey graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, and has a Bachelors of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Religion.
