Bob Odle   What IS the Bible?  What does it mean to me?  How does it function in my life?  How SHOULD it function in my life?   It is a road map for us.  It's our Constitution.     The Bible is a story.  It has a beginning, a middle, and an end.     The Kingdom of God, of Heaven: That place where things are as they would be if we allowed God to call the shots.   God is sovereign over evil. He will take care of evil, in due course. 4-10-2016 - Breakfast on the Beach Matt Elliott - A post-resurrection conversation that healed a broken heart   1 John 1:1-9 John 21:1-17 Luke 5:8   This is the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples after the resurrection as they are returning from fishing all night.  They had caught nothing until he told them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat.  They caught more fish than the net could hold, yet it did not break.  They immediately realized it was Jesus on the shore.  Peter jumped ship and swam to shore where Jesus had prepared a breakfast of fish.  Peter, in spite of denying Christ three times, got a do-over, a mulligan.  He was able to hit the "UNDO" button because Jesus forgave him.
