4-10-2016 - Breakfast on the Beach Matt Elliott - A post-resurrection conversation that healed a broken heart   1 John 1:1-9 John 21:1-17 Luke 5:8   This is the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples after the resurrection as they are returning from fishing all night.  They had caught nothing until he told them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat.  They caught more fish than the net could hold, yet it did not break.  They immediately realized it was Jesus on the shore.  Peter jumped ship and swam to shore where Jesus had prepared a breakfast of fish.  Peter, in spite of denying Christ three times, got a do-over, a mulligan.  He was able to hit the "UNDO" button because Jesus forgave him.
