Visiting Nepali parents say they were encouraged to learn that diabetes can be effectively managed through regular physical activity and healthy eating. A diabetes awareness program for the Nepali-speaking community was held in Sydney on Friday, 20 March, organised by Diabetes Australia and the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc, with support from Multicultural New South Wales.
