Genesis chapter one tells of our beginnings, and it’s all about God.  God is the primary cause because He planned it, He is the instrumental cause because He produced it, and He is the final cause because He did it for His own glory.  That comes shining through as we study Genesis one starting with verse three.

Today we continue our series on Spiritual Warfare in Ephesians six, as Lloyd discusses some of the false religions and cults we should be aware of. Lloyd starts today with a look at Mormonism

In Ephesians chapter six, the apostle Paul addressees the schemes of our enemy, satan. Today, pastor Lloyd Pulley continues our series on spiritual warfare by looking at those schemes - and the ways we can defeat them. Satan is a very real - and so is the damage he can do to our relationship with God.

 We’ll continue Lloyd’s series on spiritual warfare today, as we once again look at the schemes of our enemy, satan. We need to pay close attention to satan’s schemes, because if we know how he will attack us, we’ll know how to successfully fight back. Where do we turn too ensure we actually know what satan is up to? Well, we have God’s word, and God knows all about what satan will try - and he’ll try just about anything!

Knowing what your competition is up to is a great advantage. Did you know that satan has plans for our undoing? But if we understand satan’s methods ahead of time, we stand a much better chance of success. Lloyd Pulley’s message is a strategy session on how to beat satan!

Whether you’re an Astronaut, an Auto Mechanic, or even an Anesthesiologist, you have a list of essential items you must have in order to succeed. The same thing is true for the Christian. We’re in a spiritual battle every day of our lives, and our enemy is satan. What’s on the essential equipment list for our battle against our greatest enemy? 

For the Christian, we have a war we fight every day - a spiritual war. Today we begin a series in Ephesians six, centered around  spiritual warfare. Satan is a crafty foe, but God supplies everything we need for a successful battle.

What would life be without friends? Not too exciting to think about, is it?  Paul had some people in his life who meant a great deal to him, and as we close the epistle of Second Timothy, Paul takes time to mention them.

Today we’ll observe some of the apostle Paul’s final recorded words in scripture. Paul certainly had an ability to save some of his best words for the end of his epistles, and Second Timothy is no exception.

Many people today are running the wrong way spiritually.  And the result is much more costly than landing at the wrong airport.  Today on Bridging the Gap, pastor Lloyd Pulley will provide guidance from Second Timothy chapter four, to not only run in the right direction but to also finish well.

Today pastor Lloyd Pulley continues his series through Second Timothy. As we near the end of this series, Paul ends this great letter with some powerful and poigniant words for his protege, Timothy, to run the race of life and win.

Today on Bridging the Gap, pastor Lloyd Pulley returns to his study of Second Timothy and attracts our attention to chapter four where we see the priority of the Word of God. 

Many churches today are gradually departing from the teaching of the Word and integrating other things that they believe will be more appealing to the people. And then there are actually some churches that never even crack open a Bible or perhaps give mention of it on rare occasion. Today on Bridging the Gap, pastor Lloyd Pulley opens the fourth chapter of Second Timothy and highlights for us Paul’s charge to Timothy and us... “Preach The Word!”

Today, Pastor Lloyd will encourage us to be students of scripture, realizing that the words contained in the Bible are not from men, but from Almighty God. There are an increasing number of churches in America that no longer even bother to use the bible as a basis fore what they believe, and that’s sad. It’s also foolish. The wonderful word of God is transformational for anyone who reads it.

So, what is the bible? In the middle of Second Timothy chapter three, we read of the apostle Paul’s testimony.  His life served as a great example for others to follow.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our lives were able to do the same?  To point back to the life you’ve lived and encourage others to follow Christ by following in our footsteps. 

Today on Bridging the Gap, Lloyd Pulley has us consider the example Paul left for Timothy -  and for us as well.  He outlines nine qualities for us in chapter three of Second Timothy. 

As we continue our study of Second Timothy three today, we find the apostle Paul detailing the conditions that will exist during the Last Days. One of the very first things Paul talks about is the increase in self love and selfishness. As pastor Lloyd points out, it’s a vivid picture of our world today. 

Here on this edition of Bridging the Gap, Lloyd Pulley opens the third chapter of Second Timothy.  It is here that we observe what it will be like in the last days.  One of the characteristics is that people will be lovers of self.  That’s true of our day isn’t it?
