Many pro athletes pray before a game. Today on Bridging the Gap, we’ll go to Second Chronicles chapter twenty as we witness a prayer from a man named Jehoshafat. Today on Bridging the Gap, we’ll continue our series called “True Worship”, with a study in Colossians chapter three.  We are looking at the differences between the old person living without God’s presence in their life, and the new person, who has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. The difference should be as apparent as the difference between a caterpillar and a butterfly.

There are many Christians who look back on their habits and behavior before they were saved and wonder what they could possibly have been thinking! The old person and the new person... it’s often quite a difference. And it’s supposed to be. Our study is in Colossians chapter three, verses twelve through seventeen.

We are in the middle of a new series from pastor Lloyd called “True Worship”. A lot of people worship God in a lot of different ways. Many of them would be considered proper, and many of them would not. As pastor Lloyd takes us to the first two verses of Romans chapter twelve today, see if your worship is proper, by God’s standard. That’s the only standard we should be concerned with, wouldn’t you agree?

Number one - we should worship God joyfully, knowing that a joyful worshiper is pleasing to Him. Second - we can serve the Lord gladly, knowing that He has all things in His control. Today - we’ll investigate how we can worship our Lord through song.

Today we’ll present another message from pastor Lloyd from his series called “True Worship”. Are you a singer? Now, I didn’t ask if you were a GOOD singer, just whether you sing or not. Singing is one of the greatest ways we can worship God. And it doesn’t matter whether you can carry a tune or not.
