Worship that pleases God comes from the heart of a person who trusts Him and love Him.

The inability to return to Eden reminds us of the seriousness of sin as well as the hope we have in eternity.

God's grace covers our sin and gives us the faith to believe His Word is true.

The blessings of physical life becomes challenging and eventually ends for everyone. Thinking about our inevitable death is good for us.

God makes work challenging so we realize our identity is not found in what we do, but in belonging to him now and forever.

God's judgment on Adam and Eve's sin makes life's blessings now challenging. God introduces these punishments for sin to drive us to Him to find the cure.

Hope is found in God's ultimate victory over the enemy.

God calls us to confess and repent of our sins, not try to pass the blame to others.

Jesus was born as a human baby so you could be transformed as an adopted child of God.

God pursues His people to bring them to repentance.

Are we hiding from God or daily running to Him for forgiveness and help?

God made marriage to be a lifelong covenant to help us understand our relationship with God.

God's unique creation of the first woman reminds us that God has given to women great worth and purpose in life.

God made us to be in community, so we need to pursue relationships with others where we serve God and help each other.

God in His goodness reveals His will to us and calls us to trust Him in it daily. (What is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?)

What is our only hope in life and death? We are not our own but belong, both in life and death, to God. (This was a special Sunday morning worship service as Gateway was grieving the sudden and unexpected passing of Jason Gross, a long time member who leaves behind his wife Erin, Gateway's office manager, and their three precious children.)

God’s generous provision for His people includes His good gift of work – the calling and ability to serve God and others.

God delights in providing for all of our needs now and forever.
