And I'll talk to Russ McKenzie about how he feels about the series, his opinion on whether or not they'll win and if this season is a failure if they do not. Short recap on the New York Mets season that ended just short of a World Series title, the players on their way out, and the end of the season awards that members of the team are up for. The Jets lost a tough game to the Bills on Thursday night and the Red Bulls are one step closer to an MLS Cup title. All that plus the Giants and the local hockey and basketball teams plus New York State attempting to get rid of Draft Kings and Fan Duel. 

This week, Jayson Love (@JaysonL56) joins me as new cohost of The XO Show, and we discuss the buffoonery that is Rex Ryan. Also, how will Rob Manfred deal with Jose Reyes?, the Jets and Jaguars, and the return of Jason Pierre-Paul. The Mets have dropped the first two games of the World Series and have game three back at Citi Field tonight as they look to get back into it. The Jets dropped a tough divisional game on the road in New England while the Giants got a big win against the Dallas Cowboys to get into first place. The Red Bulls won the MLS Community Shield and will play D.C. United in the semifinals of the playoffs. The Rangers, Islanders and Devils are all over .500 and the NBA kicked off this week as well.

We will get into the Mets, Rutgers, Temple football, the NFL, a Thursday Night Football big game for once in the NFL, and a little Fantasy Football and maybe, some Red Bulls soccer and the MLS playoffs. Knicks opening night.

This week's guest is Newsday Mets beat reporter Marc Carig, who'll be checking in from Kansas City before Game 2 of the World Series.
