14: We Have a Great High Priest
18/02/2026 Duration: 11minThe sermon centers on the profound truth that Jesus, as our great high priest, uniquely bridges the divide between humanity and God, being fully human yet without sin, thus able to sympathize with our weaknesses while remaining perfectly holy. Anchored on both sides of the divine-human divide—fully one of us and exalted at God's right hand—He enables believers to approach the throne of grace with bold confidence, not with fear or hesitation. This throne is not one of judgment but of boundless mercy and grace, where every need, whether for forgiveness or strength, can be met through Him. The message calls the faithful to draw near without reservation, trusting that Jesus, having been tested in every way yet sinless, intercedes for us with perfect understanding and power. The application extends beyond personal prayer to include intercession for others, families, communities, and the world, emphasizing that God's grace and mercy are always available and sufficient for every time of need.

13: Afflicting Ourselves
18/02/2026 Duration: 16minThe sermon draws from Ezra 8:21–22 to emphasize the necessity of corporate fasting and prayer as a response to spiritual complacency and misplaced trust in worldly resources. It highlights the danger of self-deception, urging believers to measure themselves not against flawed human standards but against biblical holiness and the godly examples of the past. The central theme is repentance—acknowledging personal and corporate failure, especially the hypocrisy of preaching dependence on God while relying on human strength. The preacher underscores that true faith is demonstrated not in words alone but in actions that reflect trust in God's power, not in political or military might. The call to prayer is rooted in humility, recognizing that God alone can guide His people into the right way and restore what has been lost. The sermon concludes with a powerful appeal to emulate the penitent prayers of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Daniel, pleading for divine mercy and renewal.

12: From Emptiness to Fulfilment
18/02/2026 Duration: 07minThe sermon explores the transformative journey from spiritual emptiness to divine fulfillment through the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. It highlights how moments of inner dryness and isolation—often marked by shame, longing, or disconnection—are not signs of abandonment but invitations to encounter Christ's living water, which satisfies the deepest longings of the human heart. Drawing from John 4, the message emphasizes that Jesus meets people not in their perfection but in their brokenness, offering not temporary solutions but the eternal presence of God that quenches all thirst. The central truth is that true fulfillment is found not in relationships, achievements, or worldly pursuits, but in abiding in Christ's presence, where emptiness is replaced with overflowing joy and purpose. The sermon calls believers to seek God's presence through prayer and worship, trusting that His Spirit continually renews and fulfills those who come to Him.

05: Thy Great Name
17/02/2026 Duration: 13minThis sermon, drawn from Psalm 138:1–4, centers on the exaltation of God's name and word as the foundation of worship, prayer, and hope. It emphasizes that God's steadfast love, faithfulness, and answered prayers are not only personal blessings but also demonstrations of His sovereign character, which magnifies His name above all things. Through reflections on David's gratitude, the sermon highlights how God's faithfulness in deliverance—despite personal pain and betrayal—affirms His covenant promises and fuels confident prayer. It underscores that God's glory is at stake in every answer to prayer, and that His promises, fulfilled in Christ, are the ultimate assurance of His reliability. The sermon concludes by affirming that all of God's promises find their 'Yes' in Jesus, making His name the ultimate object of worship and the basis of our confident faith.

03: Destroying the Destroyer
17/02/2026 Duration: 09minThe sermon draws a powerful spiritual parallel between the biblical imagery of the roaring lion and the destructive work of Satan, the ultimate adversary described in Scripture as a prowling lion seeking to devour. While Eliphaz's description of tyrannical rulers is rooted in divine judgment, the preacher redirects attention from human wickedness to the spiritual reality of demonic forces that seek to destroy families, relationships, and the church. Central to the message is the truth that the power of these forces is not ultimate—Christ's victory at Calvary broke the teeth of the lion, subdued the strong, and rescued believers from destruction. The sermon calls the audience to spiritual vigilance and dependence on God's strength, echoing the prayers of the saints throughout history for deliverance from the lion's mouth. Ultimately, it affirms that salvation and victory come not through human might but through the redemptive power of Christ's sacrifice.

04: Model of Revival Prayer
17/02/2026 Duration: 12minThis sermon presents a compelling call to revival through intentional, faith-filled prayer modeled after Daniel's intercession in Daniel 9. Centered on the conviction that spiritual health begins with individual believers, it emphasizes that true revival arises not from methods or formulas, but from hearts burdened by sin and desperate for God's glory. The threefold structure of Daniel's prayer—persistent, pleading, and penitent—serves as a blueprint for authentic intercession that prioritizes God's honor over personal or communal gain. The preacher underscores that revival is not about emotional excitement or numerical growth, but about the Holy Spirit's power returning to the church so that Jesus Christ is glorified in every sphere of life. With a tone that is both urgent and hopeful, the message challenges believers to examine their own hearts, repent of spiritual apathy, and pray with unwavering faith, trusting that God remains willing and able to manifest His glory as He did in ages past.

02: What Happens When We Pray?
17/02/2026 Duration: 09minThe sermon centers on the transformative power and unseen reality of prayer, drawing from Acts 12 to illustrate that prayer is not merely a human act but a spiritual engagement with a visible and active heavenly realm. It emphasizes that when believers pray, they are not alone—angels, hosts of heaven, and divine forces are present, though invisible, actively responding to intercession. The text highlights that prayer is a form of spiritual warfare, where the church's petitions trigger real, divine action, as seen in Peter's miraculous deliverance and other biblical accounts of heavenly intervention. The preacher calls the audience to embrace the profound truth that prayer transcends the physical, advancing God's kingdom even when results are unseen, and encourages joyful, humble dependence on God, knowing that every prayer has eternal significance and divine impact.

It. Can. Wait.
17/02/2026 Duration: 03minThis is the simple challenge that the Lord burdened me to bring at the start of our 2026 24-hour prayer meeting. As soon as you wake up in the morning, get on your knees and begin praying for your family, your friends, your finances (work)—all before looking at your phone. It can wait. The remarkable backstory to this challenge is that before the prayer time began, I was sitting in the room with one BJU student. We were just chatting small talk for a few minutes until he told me how much his own prayer life had been affected of late. "Oh really? Tell me more," I said. "Well," he continued, "about a year ago, someone challenged me to pray as soon as I woke up. So, I told my girlfriend that we should try it for a week and see what we thought. As soon as I got up the next day, I got on my knees and started praying. I've been doing that for the past year and it has transformed my prayer life." I was stunned, because that was the very challenge I was burdened to give—except I wasn't sure I should give it. The Lor

01: Why Pray 24 Hours?
17/02/2026 Duration: 33minThe first hour to begin the 24-hour prayer meeting held on the campus of BJU. I try to answer the question of "Why a 24-hour prayer meeting?" Here are some reasons I give: - We live in a busy world - We live in a distracted world - We live in a careless world - We live in a convenient world 24 hours also can be useful to bring attention to a crisis—in our case, a spiritual crisis involving the absence of youth, if not in body, but in spirit. And the need for desperation in prayer. I finish the meditation with a challenge to take baby steps in weaning ourselves from the addictive nature of our devices. Broken Hearts
12/02/2026 Duration: 05minI don't often do videos like this, but today I need to speak personally. We are requesting prayer. My wife and I have six children. Three of them have congenital heart defects and we are now facing a possible heart transplant far sooner than any of us expected. We are asking for prayer. Prayer that our family would be upheld by God's grace. Prayer that both Martin and Morgan would have strength. Prayer that the Lord will give wisdom to doctors. And prayer that if it be His will, that the Lord would delay a transplant. And if not, that the Lord would be very close to us every step of the way as He has in the past.
