Rising senior Daniel Groom of the UNCW men's tennis team enjoyed an outstanding season last spring and he's reaping the rewards of that strong campaign. The Tasmania, Australia, native has received an invitation to compete in the 2019 Oracle ITA Masters Tournament on Sept. 26-29, 2019, at Pepperdine University and the Malibu Racquet Club in Malibu, Calif. Groom earned an invitation after posting the highest UTR rating of the Colonial Athletic Association's returning players in 2019-20.
