Andres Afocx was born in Peru, South America. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Clifton High School. After high school he joined the US Navy where he spent four years as an Aircraft Firefighter. Following the Navy, he joined the service work force and became a painter. After several years as a lead painter and supervisor for different companies, he started his first painting company in 2007 called The Final Coat and he did mostly government contracting under DJ Evans Contracting. That company was a partnership and he wanted to have total responsibility for his destiny. AKK Painting became a reality in 2014 named after his 3 kids’ first initials of their first names.
