Devon Rodriguez is a Bronx born and raised Contemporary Artist. At the age of just 21, Devon's paintings have already been featured in the New York Times and The New Yorker. Our conversation covers a range of topics starting with the challenges of Devon's childhood including spending years trying to find his Father and successfully doing so via Myspace, living a double life between the art world and the South Bronx block he grew up on, learning to "talk White", past and present mentors, and what it takes to create fine art that's good enough to be your ticket out.
