She started her radio career 30 years ago with Lee Bailey's Hip Hop Countdown and Report. She also recorded a rap album titled Simply Poetry in 1992 on Poetic Groove/Interscope Records and continued her career in radio working with such luminaries as Jamie Foxx, Steve Harvey, Cedric "The Entertainer" and media mogul Cathy Hughes.
