The 2018 Tony nominations have been announced at it was just the right amount of guilt to get James and Cass back into the podcasting game and recording their 13th episode of The Tony Club. We chat about our favourite nominees of 2018 and then discuss Sunrise at Campobello (the story of FDR and his battle with polio) and The Music Man (the story of Music and its fight with a Man), two works that look back at the nostalgia of an earlier time whereas other nominees (Look Back In Anger, West Side Story) reflect the broiling anger and pain that the youth of the day were going through.
