Happy halloween everybody and on this festive day, we had to review the new Halloween film currently in cinemas. Halloween 2018 sees Michael Myers (the shape) escape from prison 40 years to the day since his first rampage to revisit his obsession with Laurie Stroud (Jamie Lee Curtis). With Curtis returning to the role 40 years on we get an insight into what effect a trauma from 40 years ago can have on a woman growing up. Instead of living her life, she spends her years blinded by fear, paranoia and anxiety waiting for the day that Myers might return. And is she ready for him when he finally does. This is the second part to our Halloween double bill with our review of the first film still available online. We take a look if they have taken the same winning formula into the 21st century to attempt to create another classic horror film. This is our first field recording with recordings taking place at Everyman cinema in Esher and on the drive back home immediately after seeing the film. Check us out onlin
