The life of Jesus is a story about disruption and renewal. By confronting the systems and conventions that perpetuated oppression, injustice and brokenness, Jesus introduced a path toward wholeness and a renewed creation. Our learning series "Life Disrupted" examines the nature of Jesus's message and why it remains as captivating today as it was two thousand years ago. This week we look at Luke 5-6 when Jesus addresses the emergence of the new out of the old. In the new era Jesus invites his followers to build bridges rather than construct walls.
