He began drumming for punk bands at the age of 16, and has been playing professionally ever since. His trained ears, and passion for music production, is owed to recording bands in his grandmother’s garage. He attended the Audio Engineering School at Citrus College in Glendora, CA. He then landed his first audio job with Infrasonic Mastering in 2012 where he assisted Pete Lyman, while simultaneously learning the craft of vinyl mastering and lacquer cutting. Soon thereafter, he started his own Townsend Mastering until 2021 when he rejoi
