  • Common Beginner iOS Dev Mistakes - From Sr. Developers (Audio from video)

    22/04/2020 Duration: 12min

In this episode I talk about a viral tweet that I posted a few weeks back. I asked developers to share a beginner mistake they had when they FIRST started learning iOS development. I got answers from all kinds of well known developers from major companies. It was a lot of fun to hear that we all start somewhere. My goal for this video was to show beginners that even very senior developers made the same silly beginner mistakes that you are making right now. Again... we all started somewhere. Stick with it. • I'm an Average Developer

    16/04/2020 Duration: 05min

My technical skills as a software developer with 5 years experience are average. They're fine. Nothing special, but not bad either. However, I believe I'm a REALLY good overall software developer because of very good soft skills. In this episode I want to discuss that topic for those developers out there who may be self-conscience about their lack (or perceived lack) of technical skills and knowledge. There's a lot more that goes into being a great software developer than just knowing the code. If you like my teaching style, I've released my first iOS dev course which is all about the take-home project job interview for iOS developers.
