This is the Healthy Charleston podcast, put on by the Charleston movement collective, where our mission to show you the bodies strength and resilience through movement. Hosted by Yves Gege a physical therapist and owner of Made 2 Move and Wes Hendricks, a chiropractor and owner of Rebuild. We are 2 Healthcare practitioners from completely different backgrounds but agree on one thing modern Medicine has failed us! We are no longer thriving! Our focus is a grassroots movement where education and movement are the first line of defense in treating the body of disease and disability.

In 2016, they had their first GOTR season with 30 girls and now five years later they have served 1630 girls in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. What started with thirteen girls in one school in 1996 has grown to over 2 million girls transformed nationwide and counting. With the help of over 100,000 volunteers, they empower more than 200,000 girls annually. The only program of its kind, they focus on the important connection between mind and body.
