  • Season 4 Ep:22 "1 of 1" Oliver and Marc Cohen

    27/08/2023 Duration: 01h04min

On this episode of the podcast we chat with Oliver and Marc Cohen. Oliver is a young man that I recently got to know via his delivery of one mean sales pitch. I initially had no intention of using anyones services that morning but our man would not take no for an answer. After convincing me that my windows needed washing I was able to strike up a conversation with Oliver and really get to know him. I was becoming very apparent to me that this was not your average 11 year old and that I was dealing with something different. His knowledge of sales and his singleminded focus struck me as different, a 1 of 1 if you will. As someone who works with kids for a living it was quite easy to see that Oliver was operating at a different level. I also brought his father Marc in to pick his brain some and see if this entrepreneurial was born or bread into him. In what had to be one of my more fun conversations we chat with both Oliver and Marc and get to know them a heck of a lot more. Hope you enjoy this episode of the po

Thanks Robert for stopping by the show and chopping it up with us on The Be Someone Podcast.

  • Season 4 Ep: 19 "Raising Hell" David Reza

    12/08/2023 Duration: 01h02min

On this episode of the podcast we sit and chat with David Reza, a friend of mine from Gracie Barra The Woodlands. I've known Dave for years now but after our conversation I had to step back and ask myself did I really know him. I found out so many interesting things about my buddy, so much makes sense now after our conversation. He really restored faith in my belief of people and how through adversity they can become their best self. He is on the precious of making his pro mma debut after a sparkling run at the amateur level. When he steps inside the cage there is literally nothing his opponent can throw at him that life hasn't tried already. I feel honored that Dave opened up to me and hope you enjoy this wonderful story told first hand by the man who lived it.

  • Season 4 Ep: 18 "Make your own luck" Mitch Melton

    06/08/2023 Duration: 55min

On this episode of the pod we chat with Conroe High School senior linebacker Mitch Melton. Mitch was a little late arriving to the party but there is certainly not a lack of dance partners who wish to acquire his football skills. His story is one that demonstrates that the path to our goals is not often a straight line. Whether it be moving from South Texas up to Conroe in hopes of being noticed by the college scouts or switching positions and becoming one of the best linebackers in the state of Texas. One thing is for certain and that is Mitch has been flanked with great role models and coaches along the way. Whether it be Coach Grant of the Fury 7v7 football family or his strong willed mother who made the move to help her son fulfill his potential. I can not say enough good things about the young man and you will just have to give the podcast a listen for yourself. In closing I can sum Mitch up in a few words, he is what happens when a battering ram merges with a super computer... I tell no lies!

At his size and weight Aedan is normally the quickest and fastest on the court or the football field which in itself makes him an intriguing prospect. We chatted with Aedan a little to see his motivations and what he is hoping to do this senior season at Lake Creek High School. 10/07/2023 Duration: 01h03min

On this episode we chat with my good friend "The Top Gun" Sean Kennard. Sean is a gentleman that lives by the credo "Stay Dangerous" which actually makes a lot of sense. He has served as part of the SWAT Team team, law enforcement trainer, and mixed martial arts champion. This allows Sean to walk into any room and instantly become the most dangerous man in the room. What this allows him to do is be calm and peaceful regardless of the situation. On top of that it gives him the confidence to know that if shit hits the fan he and his loved ones will be alright. I am a big fan and proponent of this line of thinking because it is the insecure people of the world that cause a vast majority of todays problems. He is also about to start his own business where he teachers home owners fire arm and home safety techniques though visits and camps. He has a ton going for him and I know this champion of combat will do anything he sets his mind too. Sidebar him and Chad Robo recently started the "Stay Dangerous" podcast and

With reduced rates and more personal attention to be able to give to the athletes it is only a matter of time until Illinois is theirs. We also get into the benefits of wrestling for our youth, especially the hard to reach. I love chatting with Ale and I hope you enjoy our convo on the pod.
